Truth be told, while I've always found her beautiful, I never was that thrilled with her acting ability. That is until I saw her in Dollhouse. She's quite brilliant it turns out. I'm going to look up some more about her but it wouldn't surprise if she's as smart as Mayim Bialik or Danica McKellar.
Eliza is my soul sister. We were born same day, month, year and time of day. I've always loved her! She was amazing as Faith in Buffy and outstanding as Echo in Dollhouse!
To me she'll always be Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter in True Lies, Faith in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and She-Hulk in Hulk and the Agents of SMASH. Speaking of She-Hulk I would have loved to have seen her picked to play the live-action version of Jennifer Walters. Don't get me wrong. I'm sure Tatiana Maslany is a good actress and will indeed make a good Jennifer Walters but Eliza Dushku would have been phenomenal at the role.
This actress has a unique charisma, a combination of beauty and toughness. Honestly, if it was played right, she would've been "Jessica Jones". I swear sometimes I imagining her playing the role instead of Krysten Ritter. I was thrilled when I read that she became a mother. I am s happy for her. I wish her the best of luck.
Ana de Armas star of Deep Water looks so much like Eliza Dushku that I HAD TO SEE IF THEY WERE THE SAME PERSON.Looks like Hollywood still wants a Eliza Dushku.
Well It makes sense why she still looks great for her age. She’s Albanian! I really wished she would have taken the spin off show on Buffy. She was my favorite on the show. I’m just now watching Wrong Turn, and falling in love all over agin. I really hope she gets a good role in something. I miss seeing her on screen.
She is an amazing actress, when I first saw the first movie she was in, "LAST NIGHT, I said back then that she is going to be a big star and she has proven me right, also in the movie was a 12 year old Catherine Hygal, another great career that started back then, thanks for the great coverage of this iconic star!
I'd heard something completely different from what they said in this video. I read she was unable to do the Faith spin-off because she was under contract for 'Tru Calling'. Either way, it's a shame. I would have loved to have watched a Faith series! She had one of the best character arcs in the Buffy/Angel universe.
I love eliza dushku specially as Faith and Tru. She also went back to school. And when I read her FB post about what happened to her at the set of True Lies I was heartbroken and I can never watch that movie the same again. And hearing what happened at the set of Bull thats just not cool. I love her in Bull but I can understand why she left.
Not doing the Faith standalone show was a bad call. We barely know anything about Faith and she's such a complex character.. I think a lot of it was because Joss wasn't going to be writing it but considering she went on to do Tru Calling and Dollhouse.. I really think a Faith show wouldve been incredible and successful
I have an important story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith. So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana". I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly… I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling. He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car. A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.
I met her in hair and makeup while we were working on the movie Eloise. We became friends immediately and she is really sweet. She asked me to help her on her stunt scene which upset the stuntmen. I didn't know about the assault on True Lies. And while off camera the largest stuntman tried to bowl me over in a chair coming from an angle I had no way of seeing him coming. I was ok. But he smashed his face on the floor. And tried to act as if he didn't hurt himself. I talked to a cameraman I had done 15 films with. And told him if by some off chance it ended up on one of the camera's I'd sue the guy silly. She talked to me every day while filming. And is just as pretty in person.
It makes me sick what happened to Eliza in Bull. You can bet your bottom they wouldn't have given her one red cent if the abuse hadn't actually happened AND been caught on tape.
@@ChristoferKelly sure. People that know of her. People like my sister however have no idea who she is because she didn't grow up with Dushku as a prominent actress.
She became synonymous with the hot teenage slasher/thriller genre. This is based heavily on looks and so when her looks began to fade, so did he career as she struggled to break out of that genre. Sarah Michelle Gellar is another example of this.
Looks began to fade? She hasn't aged a day, she just couldn't continue doing the same character over and over again... Not an actress with much range 😬
No I think it's just coz she was so great as Faith that it kind of type casted her, and the public loved Faith and didn't want to see Eliza as anything else. She would only be popular in a Faith Type Role. Like Action, being an Action Hero, GI Jane, Tomb Raider Lara Croft would of BLOWN UP HER CAREER
I love her and her acting..she always landed a great , career-defining , challenging roles..and seems that only her can play that roles well...supported her since tru calling & dollhouse which sadly didnt deserve such ending..hope to see her in a good series/movie soon

I think she said it's pronounced Dushku like the word push in an interview I'd seen before. Cause folks would say it like douche. 😂 Seriously though Also her brother looked like a young Leonardo Dicaprio except for his Eddie Munster haircut, lol.
I don't think it was only Alcohol abuse, but Drugs too. Coz damn she looks bad, like she's aged 20yrs older than what she really is. Skin all wrinkly and just very bad, one can always tell their addictions by their skin tone and wrinkles!! Damn, such a shame. Last saw her on Banshee season 4 as the Fbi agent helping Lukas Hood.
