I think Alex made the right call by being loud to keep the IP if they stayed. Sofia deciding the IP didn’t matter was what broke the relationship. That should be easy to confirm
Just say you don't understand that she's the entire talent and value. No one gives a fuck about CHD now it's just a platform for famous people to go on at this point when they want their words heard. It's not a comedy or sex podcast and without Sofia it's completely devoid of any Value or fun.

Regardless of what happened with Sophia and suit man, Alex decided to turn her back on her girl for self-serving reasons. She could have easily included Sofia in the deal, but she didn't and that ultimately is egoism at its finest. CHD was centered on the two of them, not one. *for the people who don't get Sophia's POV stop commenting and go away, like we get it-you hate women.
Sofia would have ruined the opportunity’s they had because of her greed. Dave said he was ready to be done with the whole thing because she was being unreasonable with their offers. Alex was smart and decided she wasn’t going to let them ruin it for her too so she took the deal. Had Sofia asked Alex to get back in the deal or even tried to mend their friendship Alex would have let her in on the deal
Sofia kept fucking it up with her greed. Dave said every time they would concede and agree to many of her terms, Sofia would come back and ask for even more and just keep moving the goalpost. That’s not how you do a deal. At some point, Alex had to look out for herself and not allow Sofia to fuck up her career. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity. No matter how much you love someone, business is business and should be treated as such. Alex made the right business decision and took her emotions out of it

@@simplelaughterworks They got “lowballed” from the beginning bc no one knew whether the podcast would be successful or not. Dave took a chance on Alex and Sofia. It’s just like when talent gets signed for a record deal and the label blows the artist the fuck up. No one knew who they were before this and Barstool signed them and gave them a platform that blew them the fuck up. If they had simply posted their podcast themselves with no network behind them then it would’ve taken a lot longer for people to discover them and they wouldn’t have been making money and had sponsors since the beginning. Who knows how long it would’ve taken for them to build up that many listeners and if their podcast would’ve ever taken off the way it did without the promotion from Barstool? The deal was $75k/yr plus an additional percentage of money for however many downloads the podcast got for the first year. Then they got a raise when they renewed and re-nogotiated their contract which they literally only had 6 months left of and Dave still let them re-negotiate early and offered them a million dollar deal. Sofia wouldn’t take any deal even tho Dave was willing to give them the IP in less than 6 months which allowed them to take the podcast to any network and do any deal. No shit Alex made the best business decision and took the deal. No friend is worth losing your career and a once in a lifetime opportunity over. It’s easy to say “oh Alex only cared about the money” when you weren’t the one in a position with a million dollar deal and your entire career riding on whether or not your friend signs the deal too. At some point, you have to look out for yourself if that means you get to keep your job. It sucks to lose a friend but I also believe no friend would be this difficult to work with and risk us losing our whole careers

I'm so confused now be cause i thought the CHD fallout was because Sof wanted more $$ & that's why she wanted to get out of barstool contract & now she's saying money doesn't buy happiness & that Alex isn't happy but Alex stayed with barstool to save CHD IP.. i really think suitman influenced Sof if that is the case... in seeing interviews Alex was shocked that Sof didn't wanna save the IP & Sof wanted to keep pushing for more money so it's contradicting. ULTIMATELY happy they are both happy but wish daddy girls made it through together.

suitman is sofias ex boyfriend they were together since her CHD days and stayed with her 4 years after that. they broke up sometime last year, thats who she is referring to. you can just look up suitman and sofia theres pictures of them together.
