Love the behind the scenes and the imitation of how you guys try to keep up with Philip! 😂👍🏼👏🏻 Reminds me of trying to keep up with Dad at the grocery store without stepping on his heels. Especially going to the building with the wind blowing you backwards. I've learned to grab the side of his overalls to get a free tow. 💪🤣(He wears overalls everyday., except for days when we "go to town" for Dr appointments and such). I wish you could do daily videos forever! They're great! But if it is going to wear you out don't continue!

Mmm. ! Chateau Diaries is one of my favourite Chateau vlogs ( along with Dans of course). I love it 'cos it's the longest and most varied of all others. I know Dan's is daily but shorter and much less varied subjects. I'm not sure about seeing 'Dairies' daily but for much shorter periods. BUT.... I'm happy to give daily vlogs a try so I won't knock it 'til I've tried it!❤good luck!
My brother is just like Amaury watching rugby. Years ago, when we all still were at home, or coming back to see Mum, he was home from the Navy and watching Rugby on tv when my cousin was leaving and said to her toddler.. Kiss John goodbye.. The child went up to him and kissed him to which this Royal Navy Sailor said, GET OFF ME..I'm watching the rugby.. no care it was a baby, spoke to him like an adult, lol. .. he was interrupting Holy Rugby. lol.
Hmmmm usually the stabilizer is on the underside... you said it washes off? Maria is a Master at plating not to mention flavour profile combinations. Aw, lovely voice.
There is sticky backed stabalizer. Cut it to the size of the hoop. Place the bottom of the hoop on top with the sticky side facing up. Position the towel on top. No need to hoop the fabric, the glue holds it in place.When you cut around the embroidary, pull up the cloth. Then use a smaller piece of stabalizer to repair the hole without removing the entire stabalizer from the hoop. Less waste. I have done grandma, and grandpa in 4 ince letters that way so I know it works. I know it is not your style but i have to side with Phillip about reading the instructions.

Suggest new towels are colour coded in embroidery and towel colour so you know which bathroom they go in. Also try logo in the centre of the towel so when folded and hanging on the towel rack they will show off the embroidery

Oh wow….beautiful singing….delightful backstage goings on…..just one observation….on a general note….it’s hard to hear Maria when she’s announcing her delicious food, especially when there’s laughter at the same time! Fun to see more of the behind the scenes look! I wonder.....What goes on behind the scenes to keep the Chateau looking so clean? Maybe a video about who does the housekeeping cleaning would be fun for those of us who are neat-freaks 🙂
Stephanie gave the head cleaner Maire (another one) the nickname Mary Poppins. Dave works with her cleaning the kitchen, the B&B, and his extra clean-up of the weekend dinners. Mary Poppins and Stephanie talk in French some mornings. All non-guest Lalanders are also on a cleaning and cooking rota during the week. So you will see Natti vacuuming behind Amaury's projects and even Philip cooking or trying to. ❤ He does a good salad. Stephanie does the laundry a lot.
For embroidering the towels, use the wash away stabilizer in the hoop as the backing stabilizer. For the top use a wash away topper that is clear and kind of looks like a a clear plastic wrap. I also wouldn’t hoop the towels, instead, float them on top of the hooped stabilizer using a temporary spray adhesive to attach the towel to the stabilizer or pin it into place. There are lots of RU-vid videos to help you picking the right stabilizers and hooping.
