@@dapperdrink faxxx💯💯. Idk how anyone can watch regular show and adventure time without falling asleep at the middle of the episode. Except the episode where these show expand or dig into the lore then every other episode is hot garbage Edit: i misunderstood the guy i replied. What i should said is “mad capppp🧢🧢”
Honestly I feel like Gumball, adventure time and regular show were the only shows keeping Cartoon Network afloat after the 2000’s. They did a damn good job though
@@bowser3017I used to love Steven universe, then I tried to rewatch and realized, the first season is just filler for 90% of it and it's just sad in general
POV: You watched that video called "Sonic Boom out of Context" but actually have no idea what it's about and pretend to sound knowledgeable on the internet.
And sadly, all those heavy hitters are now over. (Except for whatever is happening with Gumball's weird air runs.) Now, it's just Teen Titans Go & more cringe shows.
They literally had a whole movie where Double D caps it off, too. It was like: '132 Episodes, 4 Specials, and 1 Movie!' That was clearly more than meta humor but was an actually detailing of how long took to get to the end. The Eds are accepted, Eddy's changed, Ed's proven he's not just stupid for sure, and Edd really showed why he still hangs with those two. It was the best way to cap things off, honestly.
@@rashan141 And yet we still didn't see what was under Double D's hat, even though Ed after wearing it commented that it made his head feel itchy. Besides that, Perfect cartoon. Top Tier 1000%
@@toonlinkthelegendaryheroof901 I mean, I thought the implication with Ed, as a kid, was that it had lice in it? As for his hat, sadly, we never DID learn what was atop his dome.
"Im not swimming in the kiddy pool with the 5 year olds! They can be so cruel when they sense weakness" "Thats why on the first day you have to beat up the biggest on in the yard" "Knuckles thats prison" Only if you let it be"
Honestly if TTG wasn't a reboot from its old glory and was an original show it would be far less criticized and more liked, but then again that's what happens to reboots
I cried real tears when DJ was voted off in Total Drama as a kid 💀💀 Edit: damn 1k likes? Ty guys 🫡 Also, Courtney is overrated to he'll. Just a baby Karen fr
2017 - 2019 era was the real fall of CN, Gumball, Ninjago, Adventure Time, and Regular Show were ending or left on a cliffhanger. We also had many shows we did not want, like Craig of The Creek, and Mao Mao. And Teen Titans Go was getting aired to the point where we were just used to it. Also that one narrator who came on during bumpers and commercials
I know right. It's only cancelled if it's hyping things up for future events, but couldn't achieve those events. Ending means it was planned from the beginning. That's like saying ATLA was cancelled after the end of book 3.
I wish people talked about ok ko more often as I really enjoyed the show and watched it the day it came out, even though it came out later i still really enjoyed it and it was probably one of the if not the last entertaining show released on CN
Bro same also I think ttg is good if it wasn't then how come There's FUCKING costumes THEY GOT A WHOLE TWO LEGO SETS FOR LEGO DIMENSIONS,TWO DAMN ASS MOVIES ,and it even had more seasons than the old one I don't care people say it's good
Yeah I was just about to comment on how some shows like OK KO didn't get the chance to get the popularity they needed because cartoon network already fell so far from the needless reboots and ttg. Same thing with Mao Mao too, I didn't like that show as much as ok ko but they didn't really get a fighting chance the shine either because most people already gave up on cartoon network. There really was an audience for both of these shows but the moment the higher ups saw it wasn't gaining as much speed as the old shows they aired they had enough. Nick has been doing this too with a lot of shows, I mean if you go and check a wiki or something there's like a whole graveyard of shows that only ran for maybe a season or so before Nick pulled it off like a month later
@@restrictive4361 what do you mean by that? There was a fourth wall breaking moment When Uncle Grandpa was gonna to open a box with a knife. Mr. Gus stopped him and said they are in a kid show.
I was born in 2012, all I remember on CN is TDI, Dexter's lab, adventure time, uncle grandpa, Steven universe, all good shows. I'm 11 now and I miss all of these, I was like 3 yo when these were airing and all of a sudden they all got deleted off of the face of the earth. Now that I'm older I dont watch cartoons, only if I just stumble upon them on my TV. I actually miss all of these, they were legendary dud. R.I.P. all good cartoons on CN, we will miss you. 🕊🕊
“All we where left with is Adventure Time, Regular Show and Gumball and Steven Universe” You’re forgetting something… you forgot the peak show known as “Ninjago” that was aired in 2011-2013
It pretty much involves at least one of the 4 main factors that consistently confirms a popular Cartoon Network TV show is on its last season: Separation, Adulthood, Marriage, and Reincarnation.
I used to defend CN saying that y’all are just too old to enjoy new shows, but as DC Superhero Girls gets cancelled for no fking reason only after 2 seasons, I switched sides. I’m turning 20 tho
@@justneto911 Not to mention the time the VA of Marceline literally stated that they dated before way way back towards the beginning of the show. They tried to take it back but it was already out there.
Alright nobody is talking about uncle grandpa Clarence or Sanjay and Craig THESE WERE GOATED. Edit: lol forgot Sanjay and Craig was nickelodeon still good though.
I remember when Bakugan was good, reboot sucks. And Beyblade metal series was on cartoon network, now Disney has Beyblade Burst, don't know about x tho
I'm led to believe alot of people didn't actually watch the show when it aired, and just saw clips via RU-vid Shorts. Which isn't their fault, it aired at like 5am from what I remember
Did they even air that shit much?, like i saw CN buildup hype for over the garden and i saw like the first Ep and never saw it in the upcoming episode list again.
At least I get to find all the shows I remember in the early 2000s in my kiddo daisy days on Toonami aftermath also internet archive with nicktoons, Jetix & boomerang Cartoons and Old School Mangas/Animes
Im just realizing, that all of the shows I loved, are now down... I really loved the regular show, Gumball, and Adventure time... these were my favourites, and I still love them. Total drama Island was the show, that I grew up with.
Yea I love total drama and the fall of the show actually matches this timeline almost perfectly. After s5 2012 the show wasn’t the same anymore. Then in 2018 we got the abomination called “totaldramarama” that ended I think last year. Now in 2023 we get a reboot everyone says it’s great but I don’t get over the change if Chris’s voice actor.
I haven't seen it in a long time but I think it ended where Rob was trying to save their universe by transforming everyone to realistic humans which Gumball and Darwin ruined it and ends the same way how Banana Joe mom brought him back.
I stopped watching Disney channel around when owl house came out, and when I look at the show now, THANK YOU PAST SELF FOR TRANSITIONING FROM TV TO YT.
@@anawfulperson and also finn wouldn’t have a problem with getting a girlfriend because his chances of him finding a female human partner were very low (Susan doesn’t count because she’s older than Finn) and probably most of all the girls in ooo wouldn’t even have the same reproductive organs as a human female and the baby have to be 100 percent human
@@lennyjenkins9931 They have a chairman back that actually helped with a lot of the things that made the channel great to begin with, like the 'What A Cartoon!' Segment that gave us shows like Powepuff Girls, KND, and Courage. He said they're gonna focus on creating great cartoons and that's all...not for kids, not for teens, nor boys or girls, simply great animation driven by creators, and I can't wait to see what they have in store
Ben 10, Dexter's Lab, Kids Next Door, Billy and Mandy, Ed Edd n Eddy and so forth were all great shows that got cancelled, AND FOR WHAT???? Cartoon Network dramatically went downhill after that
I feel bad that some other shows got lumped up in the falling era of cartoon network to the point where they got canceled because of popularity issues. I mean some of these shows didn't really get a fighting chance to shine and to make matters worse the higher ups expect these shows to get an immediate following or else they will be cancelled without another season. Nick was doing something similar to this too, to the point that if you look up on a wiki or somewhere of all of the shows aired on nick there is a whole graveyard of shows with only one or more seasons that only lasted for one or two years before never being aired again
