I know it's sad, but, it's true. Barney may have been big before, but, it won't belong before the next big thing comes along and he would be discarded.
I saw this attraction when I was very young (probably around 1998). I have very fond memories of that time. I was a huge fan of Barney. I used to have a huge painting of him on my bedroom wall that my mom painted. I remember fake leaves were dropped from the ceiling during the show and I kept a few for many years. I’m sad that the show and everything has been removed.
He’s no longer here anymore they’ve got rid of them universal Orlando Florida did as a result the dreamworks dance party have now taken over and that means no more Barney and no more friends so I’m happy for universal to finally get rid of Barney and friends because I find them extremely annoyed even as a kid I hate Barney and friends because they are the most annoying characters at all
Great Universal history video! I sadly never saw the Barney show. When Universal opened I was a tween and I remember the Bates Hotel and I ate at the old Hard Rock. After having kids of my own they were not into Barney. 😩
Thank you Micah for your Vlogs! Its like a time capsule in time to rember what was relevant back then and what it is now. Its a shame that All of Barney had been taken away . Many kids are older now and it would have been nice to have kept like maybe the fountain maybe a Statue you know something to have a little memory pic . Its not rite to erase from existence something that was close to people's hearts and childhood.thanks again Micah 😁👍

Can remember taking my daughter to watch the Barney show when she was younger.I can also remember the Bates motel on my first visit in 1990.Wonder what is going to replace it . Great video stay safe 🇺🇸🇬🇧😷👍
Man... where too begin? I first came too Universal as a kid and my parents ALWAYS took me too the show as we passed by here when I asked. We flew in from New York too Orlando and spent a day here. Over they years I did some groooooooooowing (see what I did there cause it's part of a Barney song? Hehe), and every year I've always wanted too come back and see a Barney show. This year though... it's rough seeing this, but too all the kids and/or adults who have fond memories of Barney, just remember he'll always remain in your heart as long as everyone uses their imagination. I never saw the show itself but I did manage to check out and relax, for a few minutes, at Barney's Backyard. To be honest, it actually felt peaceful listening to the relaxing sounds of nature when that's literally the background music of that area. ....and I was also lucky to meet the Purple Dinosaur himself twice in 2013 and 2020 (pre-covid)
Once again, another sad day at Universal Studios. What's next? ET is like the only original ride left now. They could at least left Barneys backyard playground and the gift shop. Whatever they do now I just hope it's not something ridiculous, they should put a Land Before Time attraction in here.

I wished they would have kept the Barney show but added another show that ran in the theatre also. I think many amusement parks tend to get rid of shows too soon when they really should only run the show maybe once or twice per day or seasonal to fill up the theatre seating space. While the space is Barney Themed, They could have came up with something with Peek-Boo or BJ and Baby Bop? Maybe a bubble or magic show that is not Barney related but fits a Pre-School concept. Many kids still love Barney and the show still airs on TV! There is even Movie in the works! Why Barney was removed is really amazing!

My family & I are going to universal in May. I Was really looking forward to reliving my childhood through my children.😂 Im a 90s baby, and my kids have watched home videos of me at universal with barney and the treehouse sad to see it go

I went to the Barney show as an adult in the late 90s because my cousin worked at Universal and would give me a free ticket. He was in the pre-show at Barneys, played Hardy of Laurel and Hardy, and John Hammond in the Jurassic Park area.
My family and I always went to barney. My daughter was 3 the first time in 2005. The only reason we went was because my mom would make us. Ha. But it was always a good show. Our last barney was Christmas time in 2018

Yes I did made a wish at the barney fountain my wish was to meet bob west the original barney voice character in real life but then my actual wish didn’t happen but then on messenger this year something actually happen my wish finally came true and that was the og voice of barney yep bob west actually talked to me on messenger for the very first time to me and I said to him I’m a huge fan of barney and he gave me a thumbs up and a smile 😊 and that made my wish finally came true as shown on 9:11.
I'm sad that another of the old friend of Universal is gone, old attractions: gone, Nickelodeon Studios: replaced, Jimmy Neutron ride: replaced and sadly, Barney went on to be one of them, he loved you, he loved us, we're used to be a happy family, but now, it's gone, nearly all of the Barney related stuff is gone, i had to explain what happened to the Barney, BJ, and Baby Bop costumes, i hope some lucky people at Universal may sell it through Amazon or EBay to remake the whole performance what it was used to be. (i know some of them did.) or possibly at a storage.
@@brianhaflin9799 Well, possibly Universal also announced that the meet and greeting side of Barney, BJ, and Baby Bop in the park were also removed, so you'll never know if you still see them in the park or not.
I remember where I see Barney live where I was little but yeah I do remember that I was seen him but I also remember that I see Barney inside when I sit down on the thing and I clap along and I said Barney but also I saw Barney come up on the stage and he jump up too I come there as a kid

They were removing things when I was filming. I don’t think they would remove full signage, Barney statue, etc if they were going to bring it back. I think it’s safe to say Barney is gone. Sad
@@bigthrillsmike3950 The reason why I think they’ll put it back, is because they’re bringing back the TV series (possibly in 2022), and there’s a new Barney movie in discussion. So by the time Barney becomes popular again, it would be a smart business decision for them to put this attraction back up.

My favorite memory would have to be the very first time when I came to a day in the park with barney and I said it’s a must do at universal studios Florida and then I said to my parents I gotta do it and that’s what I said when I was little and I went into barney and I said it changed my life forever and I went to barney the second time and it was awesome 😎 and when a day in the park with barney is still at universal studios I kind of grew up on barney and that’s why I grew up on barney and it was time for universal studios Orlando to have something new and that’s why a day in the park with barney has to eventually must go and years went on 2020 or 2021 barney is gone also though that I miss the ride so much or show it will a;ways will be in my adult barney heart ❤️ forever and ever and once was that a day in the park with barney was at universal studios Florida.
For me when I was a little boy I never go to watch the Barney show at all I go to watch animal actors they are much better than Barney because I hated him and his friends
