Very helpful. I just bought one for touching up chips in automotive paint, but there were no directions with it. Thank you, and you are an amazing artist!!
I love art paraphernalia. And this one is really cool in its simplicity. Especially such older technology is fun. As for this particular tool I like a bit of line variation, so I think I will resist this temptation...
Ahh I just got this set in the mail a week or so ago, haven’t tried it yet. I remember I first saw this on Kimberly Cricks channel. I liked the sketch, it’s your 1st go. I too wonder how the gouache does. I plan to try these on different papers, as it seems many media/applications have their Goldilocks substrate match. Hopefully you’ll give them another crack & let us know how it goes. Thanks for sharing 👋
That was a really great tutorial, thank you! I just got my pen today. Do you rinse it with water after use or just make sure the cleaner can go through the hole?
It's not really messy once you've figured out which kind of pipette works best. You can also use a loaded brush. It lasts longer than when using a dip pen.
There is no such thing as wrong or right ink. I got these because you have the option of using what you want with them. Like watercolor for instance, or diluted acrylics. Be adventurous and try different things.
"Be careful not to make a mess" said every parent of a young artist! I just walk into my art room and a mess happens! 😳 That's really interesting, I wonder if originally, that came about after dip pens in the old days, to make writing more convieniate than dipping.
