Man, it was a blast meeting up again, always a blast!! I found that one at Bass Pro for $24, I couldn't believe it, I jumped all over it!! It is funny that the bird n trout is larger than the small hunter.. Thanks for the shout out and sharing these with us!!
Two very nice looking knives! Thanks for sharing them. My favorite would have to be the Bear and Son Bird & Trout! Keep up the great work brother! Shout out to BigJ and Jesse!
Hey Tom, I watched Jesse’s video… fantastic stuff seeing you three guys together… the excitement was visible on your face.. 😀 I’d choose the bird and trout because of the wider handle.. Thanks brother, catch you soon 😎👊🏻
Thanks, Kathleen. I can tell B&T's are not "your thing." That's quite alright as we all have our likes and dislikes. I appreciate you watching, my friend.
I couldn't decide which i liked better, so 3 weeks ago i ordered both of them and the Sharpfinger (Skinner)looking one, I Love all 3 of them! And great prices from Chicago Knife Works. Quality was great on all 3, no issues what so ever.
That’s a wonderful gift from Big J! Those two are beautiful knives. I choose both! Thanks for an excellent review Tom! Have a blessed Tuesday afternoon. 🙏 Cheers, RW
Those are both cool. I thought the larger one was the small hunter too 😂. That stag delrin looks good on that one. I would probably pick it but the small one looks cool two. Thanks Tom.
I wonder what the server thought seeing someone using a hatchet to cut food😂! I like them both, if I had to pick one! I guess the Small Hunter, but then I would probably order the Bird and Trout in a week or two. Does this mean I am indecisive? Thanks for sharing, Live Long Prosper and Collect Your Own Way!
Well, I think she was used to Jesse coming in with cutlery, so she didn't blink an eye! Thanks for watching, my friend. (And it's okay to want them both!)
I think they got the names backwards 🤔 i have the bird and trout, but for use on actual birds/ fish, I'd prefer the small hunter.. but it is still a good all around hunting knife for the price (I paid $35)
Question for those who own these knives.. are they prone to rusting easily? The reason I ask.. I checked out one ( brand new ) in the local gun store and it had rust spots! I was not buying one.. but if you guys confirm that they are great vs Buck or Case.. I'd consider buying one! Thanks in advance
The quick answer is that they are made out of stainless steel, so they shouldn't be. But, I don't have enough experience with them to give you an educated answer. Thanks for watching, Blackie.
Usually in November. It’s worth the drive if you purchase a few styles of knives. They have their 2nds on sale then. You have to pick through to find ones that are acceptable but I got a large stockman with India stage for $11. Minor defect when the covers were seated. I got other styles also. 1st quality are also on sale.
