I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

I think this is something I should do, but I've been stalling for a long time now. I don't really know which firm to work with; I feel they are all the same but it seems you’ve got it all worked out with the firm you work with so i surely wouldn’t mind a recommendation.

Marisa has the appearance of being a great authority in her profession. I looked her up online and found her website, which I reviewed and went through to learn more about her credentials, academic background, and employment. She has a fiduciary duty to protect my best interests. I sent her an email outlining my objectives and also booked a session with her; thanks for sharing.

But, Peter, American is no longer a capitalist country - the government borrowed $35 trillion and it has been taking a bigger and bigger part of the economy, the bigger part the government involves in the economy, the further we move towards socialism/communism or cronyism. we are probably 40% of cronyism by now in reality. Just look at how rich congressmen and their families and friends are.

Peter's correct in his assessment of the risk of de-dollarization however, the alternative is Russia/China and bunch of other countries who don't trust each other magically trusting each other to have a new reserve currency. Doctors still offer huge amounts of charity but not tax deductible. PHYSICIANS still can be sued for a charity case. Medicine in the 60’s probably overpaid but now it’s basically socialized and nonprofitabe for MD’s. Doctor shortages now

Caps should be placed on lawsuits but lawyers are politicians that make the laws. How much is a life worth in a medical legal case, sky the limit. Punitive part of the lawsuit is really sky the limit. How long can a divorce case go for rewarding lawyers taking their time. In medicine we are paid less the longer the case. The good doctor gets the patient in and out the door the fastest. The not so good doctor is rewarded with more cash if multiple returns to operating room. Healthcare still unaffordable and many without coverage.

These economic debates are all very well, but there is never any talk about finite resources and the environment. We can't keep consuming at the current pace. A new system or new thinking needs to come in. Capitalism can't flourish without competition but privileges are given to large corporations to skew the playing field. The prevailing public despair is because the so-called governments neither have the guts nor brains to make the needed changes. AI for government needs to come in. There is no democracy. Major policies are enacted with no consultation, e.g., open borders. We all know this was decided at those close government meetings they have. Please don't protest, we just need you to pay for it so that corporations can ge cheap labour. The rulers and bankers are playing in our faces now. Corruption is not punished. Nobody resigns. What a world we are leaving for those who come after us.
