I always say this, but I love the joy you two bring to cooking. I'm always smiling when watching your videos. Thank you for the uploads. I'm sure there's alot of us who get joy out of watching you two.
I love cooking with my partner just like you and Bunkey do. You two remind me of my relationship so much. It is so amazing to see such a loving couple getting along on RU-vid. So often it’s clear on these channels that people don’t get along with their partners or that one person carries more of the weight with cooking, cleaning etc. You two seem so so kind and loving to one another and it’s super refreshing.
Awesome recipes. Just a tip I’ve learned over the last year with the rice. After cooking it on the stove I spread it out on a baking sheet and stick it in the fridge to cool down. It cooks so much better when cooled down. You don’t want to leave it in the fridge to long uncovered because it will start to grow bacteria so I usually just leave it in there for an hour. 😊
Everything looks so good! I recently started watching your videos. I have been watching older videos as well. You have given me great ideas for dinner for my family.
And I desire more butter .. I agree .. Best thing to say when your cooking ! Both recipes look yummy.. We have a Blackstone and love it ! Y'all are so cute together ❤
I think it was Julia Child who said “people who love to eat are the best people” - or something like that. The Bunkys are the best people! Loved this and will definitely try the casserole as a dip.
I'm going to put a layer of rice in the bottom. It would seem more like a casserole if you ask me. Jalapeno popper chicken casserole. Yum. The dip idea is fantastic too!!
A few tips when making fried rice. Add some toasted sesame oil when cooking your eggs, just a teaspoon or two and it will give it the take-out favor (Don’t use too much sesame oil it isn’t for frying, it is just for the favor, it is has a very strong favor.) Also, let the rice cool completely better yet cook it ahead of time. Use a fork to break it in the bowl before you fry it.
Thank you for the shrimp sauce recipe! We love cooking on our blackstone. My favorite thing to make is the pioneer woman's "Marlboro man's second favorite sandwich" its a grilled lemon pepper chicken sandwich with bacon. We use potato buns and its sooo good!
Oh my word!! Y’all are absolutely the best cooks or chefs whatever you call yourselves, YALL ARE THE BEST ♥️. GREAT PERSONALITIES TOO!! YOU ALWAYS MAKE ME LAUGH 😂
You all could also use it inside of tortillas like you mentioned for quesadillas but you could also make them into enchiladas and put the crispy jalapenos on top to add that little texture crunch and pair it with rice and beans!
@@jessicaodonohue we make fried rice all the time and it is SO much better of you make the rice the day before and put it in the fridge! You get those little crispy fried bits and it's SO good.....OMG that YumYum/Shrimp sauce, I never realized how easy it was!
Those meals look so delicious. The Japanese looked so good, when your video started I thought you guys had gotten take out. Great job cooking together. I Love you guys so much. Have a Blessed day.
I am making our version of Japanese tonight. My 9 year old son’s favorite!! Def try cooking your rice the day before & put it in the refrigerator ... makes all the difference!
They both looked amazing I’m definitely trying the "dip” I think the hubby would love it I wonder if u stuffed the peppers n wrapped the bacon I bet that would be so good!
You could make it a true dip by slicing up the roasted jalepenos and shredding the chicken instead of cubing it!!!! I'm SO going to try it! Thanks to y'all for the idea!
That casserole/dip I am going to try.. that looked delish and we are big fans of buffalo chicken dip, so that would be right up our alley! The hibachi meal looked so delish as well!! 💞
The shrimp sauce is great if you add prepared horseradish in a jar. I think you will really enjoy out that way. Give it a try! I just use ketchup, horseradish, Lemmon juice and black pepper.
I made your jalapeño poppers and have fallen in love. I have never been a cream cheese fan but with the mozzarella cheese...oh my! I have made them 4 times in 2 and a half weeks. 😂Amazing!
I love how excited you guys get about the food! I'm not sure that I like jalapeños (I don't think I've tried them I'm just assuming I wouldn't like them haha) but that casserole did sound amazing and yes, it looks like it would be fantastic as a dip!
Hack for cutting & seeding jalapenos. Cut the top off like you did then cut the bottom off. Now you have a tube. Where you see the rib meeting the flesh cut straight down there (knife perpendicular to the rib) and this will make slices of jalapeno with the seeds all still connected. Toss the seed center and then just chop or dice your pepper slices
That hibachi 🤤 We just got a Blackstone and I am so excited to do hibachi night!!! I’ve always heard to use “day old” rice for the best fried rice - cook it and then let sit in the fridge overnight.
I am making the Popper Casserole right now. Hubby and boys work the night shift so they eat there dinner around lunch time. This sounds so amazing. I can't wait to eat some tomorrow. Oh and I had two small bags of precooked chicken strips in the freezer I am using and docker them up. Thanks for sharing.
They casserole looks amazing. I prob would leave the chicken whole, then top it with the mixture with the roasted jalapeño peppers mixed in to make it more of a dish. I’m soo making this!
Omgoodness sweetheart!! I am there with you on some Japanese food! It seriously is my FAVORITE meal EVER!! My husband just took me yesterday for take out and ate my Mother's day dinner in the truck!! It was a Mother's Day Dinner date that was PERFECT! Yours and Bunkys Japanese dinner looked AMAZING!! I'll Definitely will be making that chicken recipe as well! I thought the exact same thing as I was watching about the chip dipping!! Lol We have the same ideas and once y'all said it; I was like "look at that!" I was destined to find y'all and your channel! ❤
We make hibachi on our black stone all the time! We make our rice the day before or cool it on a pan in the freezer. Just helps with mixing I think. 😄😄
I’m new to your channel and was wondering if you have made any Mexican or Chinese type recipes? Gonna be making a menu off your videos for dinner this week. ❤ love to see you two together. God bless you both
I'm so excited to try the hibachi! Yum! Have you watched The Griddle Guys on RU-vid??? They do some amazing recipes on the Blackstone! And also Mr Homeowner. Both share great recipes on their channels! Thank you for sharing this!!!!
