I stayed in the Gold Coast in Australia for Christmas. It was strange having a hot Christmas but here is a little look at what it was like. If you are wondering how to spend your time in the gold coast then this is the vlog for you.
I was based in Broadbeach which i think is a perfect spot to be if you want to explore the area. You are right on the end of the tram line so you have easy access to surfers paradise but you're also close enough to the other areas.
I did day trips to Burleigh Heads, Byron bay and a few other places.

Thanks for the video! I loved it! We always have wanted to go to Australia and after watching this I'd say we're ready. The Gold Coast is definitely where we'd want to be. I was glad to see you went to Burleigh and Byron. I've been watching a lot of videos from there and I love how laid back it is. In one of the videos from Burleigh, just walking around the town I saw about ten girls going barefoot. 👣 Just going in and out of the shops. Love, love the vibe going on there! The mall at Surfer's Paradise was amazing. Thanks again for sharing!

I sure will! Got to ask, haha what did you think of the casual feel of Burleigh and Byron? Did you like it and would you ever feel comphy walking around barefoot? I'm already a barefooter here in the States so, that's a big YES for me! Lol. The vibe is awesome... Love how people are doing what they like.

@wdwbound3298 I think byron is more casual than burleigh. I don't know if I could ever go barefoot but it's an interesting idea! I'm back in byron later this year so I'll try it out!. I don't think you will stick out being barefoot, everyone seems to be. Just be careful of how hot the floor can be 😂

@@amelia.explores Lol... I'll be careful for sure. I'm pretty much used to doing it so I think I should be fine. I just really love that it's a normal thing over there and nobody judges you. I won't be doing what you saw that guy doing... Coming out of the restroom like that!! 🤔 That's where I draw the line... Haha. Glad to hear you would give it a try. When are you planning on being back in Byron? I love the market there as well.
