Hi Cheri!! So glad you stopped by! Oh I was going to sell that ball bead bracelet but I am so attached lol. I love wearing sterling. That necklace is indeed tigers eye, I have also seen mahogany jasper, very pretty! Tigers eye is chatoyant which means it will have a band of reflective light, just like cats eye. I’m amazed at how large the beads are. Aw thank you Cheri! I think I like doing it this way and I want to give people a good deal:)

@@cherishedrelicsboutique Yes most of the beads, bead caps, old clasps and chains I save from broken pieces. The only thing I really have bought new that’s more modern made is the eye pins, stringing material like silk, cotton and bead wire and most of the jump rings. If I’m restringing something to keep it original I will use old jump rings/clasps/bead caps that I know were from an older piece and try to keep it era appropriate. I haven’t bought any triangle shaped jump rings, I think you are talking about the gumdrop beads- I used an eye pin and shaped the wire. A lot of the bar link style chains I have bought “new old stock”. I get almost everything from Etsy, EBay has a good selection too!
