I had heard from a former employee that had worked at a cigarette factory, the cheaper cigarettes are made from the tobacco swept up off of the floor at the end of the day. This kind of reaffirms that claim, that is just nasty.

Quit a little while ago. I've been checking the price of cigarettes once a week, then multiplying x7 and tranferring it to savings. The argument against smoking gets stronger every week.
@@thedotpb3538 In Canada, there are some indigenous reservations that exist where mostly native peoples reside. They have different regulations and rules when it comes to how certain products are regulated and taxed, especially when it comes to tobacco (which is tax/duty free). One of the main reasons (outside of the reparations from the abuse of their people from the past) is that tobacco is a huge part of their history, culture, heritage, and spirituality. These reservations have many tobacco/cigarette stores, and this makes up most of the business, revenue, and outsider visits that those lands get. The tobacco is considered budget by some people, although I personally have always enjoyed them and their quality, and they feel much cleaner than the name brand cigarettes. They also offer menthols, which is illegal in Canada outside of ingenous laws due to the greater restriction/regulation involved with the plain packaging and flavour rules more associated with the sale of tobacco. This type of tobacco, however, is considered as contraband normally outside of those reservations, or for people that are not of Native-Canadian status; there is also a black market involved with the sale of these cigarettes, mostly because of how cheap they are: as I mentioned earlier, for exactly 13$ Canadian, you can buy a "bag of smokes", which holds 200 cigarettes, or a carton essentially. These contraband laws though are very rarely enforced, and these stores will sell to anyone of age. One time a few years ago, for an unrelated reason, I was in a police car, but they had searched me prior, and found a pack of cigarettes that was clearly distinguished as being of native origin, and they never said anything about it. I'm pretty sure that these reservations exist across all of Canada, but it seems to be more of a popular and regular occurance in the provinces of both Quebec and especially Ontario. A recently released study for cigarette manufacturers found that about 30% of tobacco purchased in Canada is bought illegally. In Quebec and Ontario specifically, the rates hover around 40% and 50%, mostly stemming from those reservations. For comparison, in my particular city, the cheapest 20-pack of name brand cigarettes would cost around 12$ Canadian after taxes, with the cheapest 25-pack being around 15$; depending on the brand (and size of pack), however, this can cost you 22$. It's absolutely crazy how cheap the natives sell their tobacco.
This is coming from a 19 year old who's health and physical ability is that of someone 40 years older. The first cigarette will not get you hooked,but that's precisely the reason why you'll smoke the 2nd time,and the 3rd,and the 30th,then for life. it might take as long as a year between your first and second cigarette but i assure you that time will shorten between each cigarette and the next and Before you know it you'll smoke your first pack. "I can quit whenever I want" you'll say,if you're at that stage then please quit already, you probably can't. As a 15 year old who smoked for 5years just pick up a vape its easy to quit with vaping and i quit vaping aswell by lowering nicotine levels. And i hate when adults are like oh teens smoke to be cool, maybe many do but i jist tried it and 3years later i was a pack a day smoker totally addicted. When i tried quitting cold turkey my hands would shake etc it was horrible. Just never start, i was a dumb and curious kid.
The more I watch videos like this, the more I realize that everytime someone talk about the dangers of smoking, often times they talked about cigarettes that you buy in shops, the ones that big tobacco corporations make. And usually they just assume that one size fits all.

Nicotine isn't lethal, but a heavy amount of nicotine can indeed kill you. Just like caffeine. But yes the other components of the cigarette can kill you.

This is why I only smoke Cigars and cigarillos. Hand Made Cigars are 100% tobacco, with no additives at all except for the paper ring that you remove. Cigarillos are 90 to 95% tobacco, the rest being some flavoring... Like Davidoff said : Smoke less, to Smoke Better.

My mom's friend lived in an apartment and the apartment owner fell asleep with a cigarette. That caused the entire apartment to light on fire. Luckily, my mom's friend and her children were all okay, but they lost everything. And there was still a house fire, so they could have died.
@ranciddogs Your right, smoking anything is bad (you also have to consider whats in the smoke tho) but when it come to marijuana you can easily avoid the damage from smoking by vaporizing it or baking it into a pastry, if you do that theres pretty much no harm done.

I wasn't trying to degrade people who smoke. I'm just degrading the habit. Cigarette smoking is a really touchy topic to me. It shortens the life span by about 15 years, more if a disease kills you. I think anyone who chooses to START smoking is idotioc. If they're already addicted to it and smoke, I don't think that's stupid. It's hard to quit. People would live longer, have less diseases, taste better, and stink less if it wasn't for cigarette smoking. It has actually made me cry before, thinking about it. I will admit, though, I do enjoy a cigar every once in a while. So I'm not a fanatic about my being against cigarette smoking. ps: cigars are not addictive, and aren't inhaled.

cigarettes dont smell anywhere near as bad, and some brands dont smell bad at all in my opinion. cigs are 1/4th the price (at least) and dont make you want to stay home all day and get high. because you dont get high on cigarettes. just light headed and calm. im not saying they arent unhealthy. just better than weed

Not in and of itself, sure there are existing compounds found in marijuana that are carcinogenic, but it is far from being more carcinogenic than a cigarette. My recommendation is that you don't smoke marijuana, there are much safer ways to bring THC into the body.

what those "pro" anti-marijuana sites don't know.. is that it effects everyone differently. so one person cant say "i smoked weed and it did some damage to my body" NO. its the people that get damaged from marijuana are the ones who bash on it.
I've been hooked since 11 years old, over decades since that first Marlboro. I'll never forget telling myself I wouldn't get addicted (whatever that meant). After a few months, I was pretty much desperate for a cigarette after 2 hours without one, just as any smoker was. Then I ran out and felt like I was going to die for one. I got more and that time I lit up was the most relieving feeling you can imagine.

I smoked since I was 13 years old and I am now 25 years old. I have been vaping electronic since 2009. I started vaping with the DSE 901, and now use a 510 ego with drip tip and low res atty. My lungs feel so much better, dont have a smokers cough anymore, and feel better all around. I cant smoke an analog cigarette anymore because they are so nasty. My wife who has smoked for about the same amount of time has completely quit nicotine by using hers. Everyone who smokes should try these!
You are correct, marijuana is a wonderful herb that should not be abused. Though, just like drinking, it shouldn't be used in front of children. Children should learn about it at a young age to prevent abuse. Abuse being, the everyday chronic smoker who only uses it for recreation.

I two times almost got killed by eating cereal. There were shreds of plastic in it, and one part bored itself in to my mouth.
