what are the prices like there in china? i’ve tried finding any website that will have the price in yuans, but to no avail

I've never messed with BAPE before, as they definitely ain't my style. Am I wrong to say that they haven't really evolve much in terms of style and design since the 90s/early 2000s? I mean I know fashion are cyclical, and they definitely hit their stride again back in the mid 2010s, along with the Jerry boys and Off-White aesthetic. And I understand that there will always be the die-hard fan of their loud and colourful aesthetics....but surely they need to cater to their fans who had grown older? Or perhaps try and capture a different market that prefer a more sophisticated look? Just my 2 cents.

Huge BAPE fan here, but I must admit BAPE really stalled since Nigo left and had somewhat lost its identity, releasing the same shit over n over for the last decade. They recently tried with the new Asia camo but they really do need to broaden their design scope instead of repeating stuff they know would somewhat sell. Sadly BAPE is more or less irrelevant now and became a brand dedicated towards the young Chinese rich whom reli have little to no knowledge about fashion. Pains me to say this, but this is from a guy who owns a warehouse collection of BAPE.

OMG, some of their tees design is so bad (01:52 are they kidding me), overall is a lackuster IMO. Am surprise you are allowed to film, in the past one needs a hidden camera to film the store. Think it was in 2019, Bape collaborated with MCM, the queue outside Singapore Bape store in began early in the morning or even overnight, nothing was left on shelf that day. Unfortunately i don't think Bape is even hype these days, with their own trouble with Nike once again, clothings made in China (not saying is bad) the lack of famous people donning the brand, Bape has long been digging their own grave little by little since Nigo sold it away.
