When you return I would love a mini review of your packing video, skipping most and just picking highlights like “I’m so glad I took this” or “I regret bringing this! little unpacking video would be amazingggg😊 I love your videos and watch every one! 😍💜
Ok so I know you post well after you've done your travel but Moroccan Argan oil is the best hair serum you will ever buy and there are special co-ops that fund women where you can buy the oil direct from them
Congratulations on 200K subscribers!!!🎉🎉 Enjoy this trip so much. Also, I recently went to Malmo, and best believe I took some of your recommendations, specifically the falafel restaurant. 10/10. Thanks for the recommendation.
I loved watching your packing videos! I just spent two weeks in Panama and it was the first trip where I think I finally mastered my packaging! I used every item of clothing minus a few pairs of socks. There were a few things I decided I wouldn’t need next time, but I successfully survived for two weeks with only a carry-on. Much better than this time last year when I spent three weeks in New Zealand and Australia and brought the biggest suitcase I had and packed it full of clothes I never wore!
Just tip for saving space with toiletries- I use a shampoo bar and a conditioner bar, and use my shampoo bar as a general bar of soap too! Just make sure it’s a big enough shampoo bar of course. I’m so excited for the vlogs from this trip!
I love my eagle creek global companion backpack as well I have used mine for the last 2years. I so wish they would bring it back as it’s definitely the best. Hope your flat completes smoothly. I’m so excited for you 🎉. Safe travels 😊
I have the same noise cancelling headphones! they're amazing... I always contemplate not bringing them but I always do because they also help with the pain in your ears while flying! if you have the app you can let them measure the pressure and they will even it out a bit. very nice. I had one horror flight where my ears where hurting so much and I never want that again.
Excellent video as usual. Arguably you might find a pair of gloves useful on the train - overnight to Zouerat it will be very cold. But by the time you get to that you can always get a pair in Morocco before you cross the border. Which, judging from others videos detailing the minefield nomansland, is an adventure in itself. Best not tell your mum about that...
Great video. Next time will take a 30l backpack and 1 personal item weight together 1 kg unpacked. This way what i take will stay where can see it end of. ..
How will you stay warm? Linen is lovely but not warm.I have the same backpack and am currently packed to fly cross country. I love the backpack also. Better take warm legging or you will freeze! I find a crossbody bag works well with the backpack. This combo worked well for me for 3 weeks in Europe. Lovely video and happy trails
I packed leggings! (They came slightly later on after the trousers in the video)☺️ and also the jeans that I’m wearing on the flight. When it’s extra cold on the train, I will layer up with both my leggings and jeans!
I see why you`d pack to the max but I did this mistake before and when you`re backpacking I just cannot carry that much stuff with me - every day up & down, once I actually got bruised on my hand from the backpack so in the future I will bring 1/2 less couse at the end you realize you don't really need 5 pairs of pants 🙃 good luck with the train it sounds like a real adventure!
@@BackpackingBananas probably around 35L. I think my laptop is the biggest issue (was a digital nomad) si I look forward to my next trip where I`ll be traveling without it for the first time 😇
i'm shouting at the screen "fold the pants not roll`!!!!!" lol if you folded them and placed them ontop of each other you would have had more room, also another tip i found recently is to make like a long sausage out of pants and tuck them around the shape of the bag. also i'm worried about you taking a brand-new pair of boots you haven't worn yet, they look like they'd cause a lot of friction hopefully you do ok in them on the trip, some band aid tape might be a good thing to add into your kit
How will you manage travelling around on hot days if your bag was so full while wearing all your biggest layers? I wear my heaviest clothes (Australia almost always weighs and it has to be under 7kg) but I still make sure everything fits while wearing my smallest clothes just in case!
I love your videos! I have noticed there’s so much less emphasis on making sure all toiletries fit in a tiny ziploc, even with other RU-vidrs as well. I’m from the US, and it’s what hangs me up the most when I pack, tho I decant etc. In your travels, do you find that this is not stringently enforced? Just wondering if it’s sth we Americans are obsessing over, though I do recognize the value of limiting liquids.
In the UK, unless you go through one of the new machines which are still quite rare, it is very very strict and they will make sure all your liquids fit in the bag and that it completely zips up 🥲
I'm sorry but got the Moroccan map incorrect. There's no country between Morocco and Mauritania, you'd know this since you'll pass there to arrive to Mauritania.
I probably didn’t NEED 3 trousers. I wore the white ones the least. But other than that, honestly - I used and wore absolutely everything else that I packed!
@@BackpackingBananas amazing! Thank you ☺️ I’m heading to Europe for summer and won’t be doing a ton of walking around with my luggage so this sounds ideal!
