if you are looking for a good notebook, I would recommend dingbats. the paper is amazing with no bleeding or even ghosting. it is slightly wider than most bullet journals which is great and the cover is made out of vegan, biodegradable leather with really cute animal embossing!
I have a few of their notebooks, they’re great! I want to use one for my bullet journal soon but I actually picked a different one this time...you’ll see the student bullet journal video in a few days :)!
The number one things I keep in my backpack is my little emergency kit, it includes a portable bag, first aid kit, sewing kit, tiny brush, tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner and hand sanitizer and other things. I don't need the kit all the time but it makes me feel better to have all that stuff on hand
I have a Lenovo Flex 5 and I adore it! This is the best laptop I have ever used. Lenovo makes really nice laptops that have an amazing battery, it is the one thing I stress about when I was looking for one because I enjoy studying at cafes and the library. I just need to get a pen so I can start some digital notes.
When I went to uWaterloo my backpack essentials were always food!!!!! And old fashioned pen & paper. I always took handwritten notes during lectures then re-typed them later - probably my best study habit!!!!

I bought the Lenovo Flex 5 in 15.3 inch and love it! I am a digital media AA graduate and will soon be doing a business BS due to changes in life. The battery life is long and I am going to be using it for my class notes this year due to the fact I can take it to school for a good day and not worry about having a charger nearby. I bought mine at Office Max 8 RAM, 251 GB SSD, NVIDIA GEFORCE card and Intel i7 processor. There is plenty of screen space though if I even need more for a big digital media project it is easy to connect an HTML code to it.

I have a chronic condition charachterised by pain, a lot of pain and a lot of fatigue. So I take morphine twice a day, but sitting in my wheelchair gives me more pain - and a better quality of life though that may sound backwards. But ''normal'' people stuff, I'd have to say my phone charger and headphone splitter, or ipod. It takes me about 20 mins to get to school from halls/dorms, and I'm a bit of a loner who talks too much....:) I can't wait for the new term to start!!

I can't live without some sort of drink with me. For most of the year its ice water because I live in California and we have no seasons here except summer lol. However during the two weeks of winter we get I like to carry around hot tea. I use my 32oz hydroflask for water and one of my MANY swell bottles for hot tea. Side note, I absolutely low anthropology and there is actually one in the shopping center across from my neighborhood which is dangerous. Love your taste! Keep slaying the pouch game lol

Going to college this year, which is very nerve whreching. I have no idea what to expect nor do I know if I'll be accepted. Watching this type of videos helps me feel a bit more prepared and relaxed. I'm always excited for the back to school type of videos but this year, with all the changes, they've become even more helpful. Love from Portugal 😊😊
born and raised there, and not really. however, student life and campus life is germy and you never know if students are keeping up with their hygiene while keeping up with the studying/parties/sleep, so you gotta be safe. this goes for all universities/colleges.
I just came back from New York & i thought Toronto was a mess but oh boooy New York was worse and I honestly dont even remember it being that horrible till I went there few days ago.
I liked the yoga laptop, but its super expensive but its like that too, can go to tablet and pencil usage My laptop is an Acer but i hate it, its super thick and heavy! I also have a leuchtturm and will be changing to a scribbles that matter in october! I really dont like the pages quality of the leuchtturm :(

OHHH here in Poland there's a magnificent shop called Flying Tiger Copenhgen and I just can't go there alone, cause there's so many pretty things I'd like to decorate my house with but also I have a weird obsession with like notebooks and stuff so I really can't go there because they have stationary too and OMFG you should check them out! They're sick!
I in college for makeup and have classes where I have to bring my makeup case so and my computer with me so it can be a pain. I am definitely going to be looking for a backpack that will fit all my stuff plus my 17.3 laptop.
Hi! I wanted to get that backpack but I’m worried that water gets through in the edges on rainy or snowy days and damages my laptop. Did you ever have that problem?
I call my small wallet my smallet lol my friends have even caught onto. We all take them to the bars with us! My backpack must is my headphones, my pencil case with all my bujo supplies and a phone charger!
I have the same laptop but the European version, however, i dont think it is suitable for tablet use, i bought a 2 in 1 to save money from buying a tablet for handwritten notes but i think i ll still havd to buy a tablet because the laptop is uncomfortable

This is so awesome cuz I’m actually going to UofT next year and I’m super nervous xD. In terms of taking notes what would u recommend? Handwritten or typed? In high school I was used to handwriting everything but I’m worried the profs will speak too fast :/
Normal to be nervous, but you got into this school so you'll be able to handle it, don't worry :) Congrats on getting in btw! I personally take a mix of both handwritten and typed notes...just depends on the class....I usually use the first week as my "figuring it out" week and that's when I decide what I'm going to do for each course. Neither option is wrong/right....it's all about what's easiest/most comfortable for you !

I used the backpack in the rain and snow and have never had any issues...the material is very durable in my opinion...my one from last year still looks like new ☺️ good luck with your PhD Laysa 💕
