Do dual enrollment or AP/IB classes if you can! It'll give you college credit for cheap. Something important to remember is that the less time in school, the more time at work!

The best part of digital notes is if you want to have notes in a binder you can print them out or if you need them on paper you can print them instead of rewriting it just works
getting into a Med Course in the 2 available top notch universities is like one of the hardest thing in Hong Kong. The stress, tension, competition, social unrest, CHINESE SUBJECT itself which is completely devastating are some of the reason why it's nearly impossible for someone like me who is diagnoised with ADHD and some sort of lack of attetnion syndrome to study the course that i particularly cherish...... And given that my family lies between the lower and middle class, studying med school overseas seems to be impossible. Studying usually eats into my resting period so the biggest problem now would probably be to overcome the mental challenges...

The reason for abstract reasoning being one of the sections in the UCAT exam is to test applicants on their ability to identify patterns. iCanMed is very helpful to get proper insight over this Abstract Reasoning section. I also completed by UCAT tutoring from iCanMed. They offered me a UCAT resources which are helpful for identifying patterns.

When I studied medicine at the 90:s , I had only some medical books, some pens, a notebook , a stetoskop for the hospital placement and a coffee thermos in my backpack. That was enough equipment . And we had to attend all the lectures , otherwise you cant learn medicine. There was no need for high end technology .

Really resonate on the 'mini-pharmacy' comment. I always carry my Ventolin inhaler, Strepsils, Panadol tablets for back/leg pain and Eclipse Mints. And crazy to see you do exactly that too. Coincidence^2!
finding your helpful channel as just for this very moment is such a shame. u are really inspiring! how i wish I can have those thing u have especially that Ipad pro which is very essential tool in med school. Btw im medical laboratory science student and I find this very helpful.
Instead of carrying 2 inhalers - switch to a SMART system with Symbicort or Fostair. You use it twice a day like the Seretde but you can also use it as a reliever. Speak to your asthma nurse or some of your colleagues. It is the way forward and cheaper if you pay for prescriptions and it works better. Check the BTS or GINA guidelines for more info.. 🙂
Im thinking about buying an ipad to write my notes, I just finished my first year at med school, and had great scores so itd be like a reward haha. But Im just so used to draw and highlight! I dont wanna waste money til im completely sure this is the right option. Anyways, your vid truly encouraged!
