Nice job, a lot of little details here to think about. I use random cloth bags like that as well (often they are the retail packaging for pillowcases or bed sheets). A little bit nicer solution are Giottos microfiber pouches. That Anker power bank thing seems like a good idea.

It's incredibly difficult to get 140k subs these days, with RU-vid being so over-saturated. Less than 0.01% of RU-vidrs even have 10k subs, never mind 140k. Just hitting 100 subs puts you in the top 5% of RU-vidrs.

Noise canceling headphones are also great for noisy made roads as well as airplanes. Also noise canceling headphones are great for sleeping when there are ambient noises in a room like load air conditioners or people snoring. I have owned several kinds of noise canceling headphones from Sony to Bose. Currently I have Bose QC25 but I think that Sony has the best sound Bose has the best Noise Concealing feel and best headphones for around the ear since you can replace the earphones more frequently than having to worry about replacing the entire headphone.

It’s an iPad Air 2. I use it for everything except video editing! I know most people jump between computer and their phone, but for me I’m on my phone only when I’m out; at home it’s work on computer, everything else on iPad.

As I use the Sony so often, I don’t always put it back into my dry box, but I will if it had been even slightly in the rain. Dry box is a must for Hong Kong climate though, I have all my other cameras in one

Hey Lok (and other MacBook Pro users I suppose), what do you think of the TouchBar™? I hate it - I keep inadvertently muting the sound, calling up Siri or going back a page in the browser, and the Escape key is terrible.

Yes I think it takes may be a slight more attention to tap on a button, compare to actual physical button; but it do comes in handy a time when tapping a button from the touch bar faster than dragging the cursor to click on things on screen. I won't miss it if Apple go back to physical keys, but I don't hate it

+Lok Cheung you have long fingers: don't you find they inadvertently touch the bar and hit "buttons" that you didn't intend to? Maybe you have a different typing style. I find my middle fingers are hovering over the bar too often and that's the problem.

I actually like the bigger touchpad, although I occasionally send the mouse pointer where I didn't intend to also!

I see! No I don’t accidentally hit the touch bar, but I get what you mean now. Yes that’s one thing about touch screen is exactly that, too sensitive. I love the haptic mouse pad that let me click anywhere on it! When I have to use an older mouse pad it just annoy me.

Wait a minute... I thought you were running mostly a 4 stop ND filter... Now in this video you're saying mostly 3 stop and occasionally 5 stop. So after all these months you are now back to mostly 3 stop ND filter?

Yes, I started with a 4 stops, but sometimes I find it to be too dark for cloudy day / in shades, yet it's not dark enough in sunny day. So I changed to 3 stops for most day, 5 stops for sunny day.

Hi Lok, 2 consonants shorten the vowel. So the, I in your water bottle has the same sound as the I, in wig. Perhaps that doesn't make sense but trust me. I asked a native German speaker.

How do those rechargeable AA-batteries last?... I've had very mediocre experiences with them in the '90s and early 2000s (they wouldn't hold a charge too soon), so I stopped buying and depending on. - But perhaps they have improved in the last 10-15 years?...

Michael Angelo H. Eneloops work very well. Somebody said that ikea also has an eneloop like version that works well also for less cost.

Ah, good to know. - Any idea how they compare with single-use batteries? In life and such. - Not that I like buying many single-use batteries, cause it feels one of the most wasteful things, in both cost and waste. But yea... They should last.

eneloop at full charge still only has about 80% of single used batteries; but the big improvement is after they were charged, they don’t self discharge like those old rechargeable. With those old ones I used to have to remember to change them the night before use; now after used I charge them right away, and they are ready whenever I need
