You are so lucky you are going to clinicals during covid! I start nursing school in spring and was told we aren't starting clinicals till 2nd semester because of covid:(

Your videos are so helpful! I have my interview in December for the nursing program at my university. Did your program require one, and if so do you have any insight you can give me or tips? Love all of your videos by the way!!

Hey Michelle! Unfortunately my school did not offer an interview process, HOWEVER I wish they did and I am so jealous of you lol Here are some things I’d consider! - What is your “why”? Think deeper than just “I care about people” because we all do or we wouldn’t be in this situation. - Why this university over the others? What do you hope to obtain from your experience? - “Tell me about yourself” questions freak me out lol take time to consider how you would respond to this. Pinterest has some great interview resources! Hope this helps!

Wishing you the best through your clinicals 😘😘 I'm curious about how you became a nurse in US, it's so different from where I live (Spain). How many years it is? How do you get in? How are the subjects distributed?

Thank you! There are many options! Two year programs and four year programs! I am currently in the four year program in my third year. There is typically an application to get in and some do an interview. My university is split up between 4 semesters of the actual nursing program. You take 3-5 classes per semester usually! Hope this helps!

@@futurenursedestiny3749 Wow here there's only a 4-year-degree for nursing (if I'm not wrong I think is what you call RN 😬) and you get in by the results of a national exam you do after high school and your high school record (traditional way). In my university each year is divided into 2 semesters and you take also 3-5 classes per semester, except for the last year where you only have pure clinicals and a "final degree project" (don't know if you have something similar)
