Honestly coming from someone who finished college. What you need in your bag for the most part is a laptop/tablet (sometimes, other days you might not need them unless you always take notes with it. You'll figure this out after you've been in your classes long enough) Honestly that's it everything you add might use sometimes. 1-2 notebooks for notes (unless you use your laptop) but always have a few pieces of paper for whatever reason. 1-3 pens and pencils. *a few Colored pens/ highlighters if you like colored notes. Earbuds (when your class gets cancelled or some down time) And a water bottle. (There's always places to refill them)
superrr excited for your college vlogs carina🤩 it would be awesome following your transition and evolution as a college student and watch you grow in general ^_^
Very excited for your usc journey! If you ever need apple products such as iPads that you mentioned, def take advantage of the usc bookstore! As students, we get special student discount (lower price than the apple store)! There’s also a tax free apple week!! I’d def wait for that if you’re not in a rush of getting it!💖 iPads come in handy especially for classes that require lots of online readings! Most of the professors at Marshall also upload class slides on Blackboard and it’s always nice to download them before class! There are always almost 50-60 slides for one lecture (particularly Econ and stats) so having those slides with you on the iPad is SUPER helpful!! ✨
Hiii!! Loved the video! I'm going to be a sophomore in college this year and I think its so worth it to get an iPad!! It's light and easy to use. I also recommend carrying around your chargers. You never know whenever you'll need them. I'd say like one folder is helpful. I really didn't have that many handouts. A lot of things are online! I hope you have a good first semester!!
So excited for the college vlogs!! I’m so excited for you you worked so hard to get to this point 🤎 as someone who recently graduated from college I think you’re pretty prepared! Most things are electronic so I don’t think you need a bigger bag. Wishing you the best for your freshman year
im in second year and trust me an ipad is so worth it! i used paper for my first two semesters and absolutely regretted it, was so jealous of all my friends with ipads because its so much more convenient as you can write straight onto the profs powerpoints. they go so fast so theres no time to copy down everything they say and write!
hey i'm from LA and i would say carry around a facial spray along with a moisturizing sunscreen (the sunbum one is the best) but carry the oil blotting sheets anyway because this summer has been humid
I recomend Ponds moisturizer. Its super thick but still soft and not greasy. Its pretty cheap too and you can buy it at most drug stores here in Canada, I bet wallmart would have it too.
Same with the ipad…i wanted one so bad because everybody is getting one for school, but i really dont want to spend the money so i am probably waiting till christmans
hi! i live in california and if your skin does that flaky thing i THINKK it might be because of the sun and how strong it is, especially in the south, so wear hella sunscreen and moisturize a lot. also if normal moisturizer isn't good enough i reccomend coconut oil its so good for the skin and could calm down that flaky stuff. i hope this helps u!! good luck!!
omgg carina I LOVE your school/study contents!! 🫢🫢 hahahaha yayy i wish you all the best in uni/college🫰🫰🫰atb!! thank you for posting!!! 🙉 hope everyone have a great day ahead 🤭
Just letting you know you probably won’t be using the TI 84 at all. They can be programmed so profs don’t trust students using them on exams. I was sad when I barley used mine in university lol.
I thought I was the only one with a abnormally small ear canal where AirPods don’t fit in, I was in the plane and had to keep pushing it in before it fell on the passengers sitting next to me. So embarrassing lol
