Here's another (hopefully) helpful court reporting video! Today I am showing you what is exactly in my work bag along with my machine, and I also go into my deposition setup. I love having a minimal setup and tools to help me during my job. Let me know if you have any questions :)

Thank you so much for making videos like this!! It's really easy to get unmotivated as a court reporter in progress. There's not much information out there or people who do the things you do. So, I really appreciate it front the bottom of my heart!

At my school we take a depo course & court course for 6 weeks. You learn on the job tips mainly from sitting out with real reporters.

How often do you have to do read backs ? I was talking to a court reporter and she said she hates her job because lawyers try to embarrass her with read backs? I had never heard this from anyone so I was wanting to hear your opinion on this
