It’s finally up!!! And it’s 1:03 am where Im at lol. Thank you guys for being patient with me. I have been in the mountains for the last month. We were in South Dakota and now we are in Wyoming at the Grand Tetons. Mannnnn I have seen soooo many beautiful places recently. Feeling blessed but also feel a little disconnected from the rest of the world. Hope you all are doing good!! It felt so good to film! 😘😘

I love your glamorous preps! I am a mama who struggles to provide for EVERYBODY as well. I am grateful for a husband who knows I have to have my "big bag" with me whenever we leave the house. It has literally saved me so many times from cars that won't start or out of gas to my latest our car literally had the engine "explode" (no fire but mechanic found a hole in the engine block) and the whole family was stuck at the tollway and we hiked back home. I am much more at ease when I feel I am sorta prepared.

I love these videos so much even though I'm not hiking any time soon.. if you replace your battery charger, they have the solar battery packs that u can hang on your backpack and it'll charge while you're hiking. My husband had one a few years ago and it came in handy when we used to go camping a lot. Great video as always! 🎒 🎒 🎒

Thats good you have all the items you do. I watched a show on the weather Channel about people who went on a day hike and ended up getting lost for days and not having items to help them. I would like to see whats in your husband's pack and your kids. Also if you could show whats in your First Aid kit. I have used some of your ideas of things to pack. This year we had season pass to an amusement park in the city we live. I did up a backpack for just going there, it my backpack 🎒 I had a small first aid kit, a container like you use with different medications in and I had items for my kids for motion sickness. I also had some other things. Had it not been for watching your videos I don't think I would have had that stuff with me. Yes we used the items in the backpack 🎒 different times. Thank you for sharing.

Girl I love your kit videos!!! I'm the same way. I make sure that I have everything that I need first. My bag has tons of pockets and waterproof too. I also have a survival belt, pocket survival/edc kit, & survival necklace. That way I have everything I need and the weight is more evenly distributed. Plus things are easier to access too.

Absolutely love this. You think of everything. Now I have to buy some more stuff for my bag 😆 I am in the process of organizing mine but I love that cooker. Osprey bags are the best!! I purchased my boys a 40ltr bag with the clam shell closure for trips to Europe. They did not want to check a bag and it fits perfectly as a carry on in overhead compartment. Awesome product with great warranty.

Hey! One thing I keep in my first aid kits that I haven’t seen in any of yours but feel is necessary for me at least is a quick bleed-stop powder. I got the human kind but it can be used on my furry family members too. I’ve had to use it before when I cut myself while I was cooking (kinda skinned my finger but didn’t slice it off - just bled like crazy until I attended to it.)

If you get unbleached bamboo tp you can just put it the ground when going 💩. Just dig the whole and extra inch.

🎒 Love the video! I would love to see your husband and kids backpacks also. I also have a hat like you have on but mine has a rechargeable usb light. I got them for the whole family after they saw mine. It works out so well if you need a light fast you can just click a button on your hat. I got them from Amazon. And I also have kid friendly Walkie Talkies we all have just in case we get separated we can call each other. Can’t wait to see next video I’m a gadget girl also and love being able to organize and have everything on hand to. If you can fit it I also have a hammock just in case I need to be off the ground due to rain

I love kits and i'm like you ... i overpack and overplan. I'm ALWAYS prepared !!! People at my work used to call me the Scout Leader because I always had everything LOL. Wow, great video and bag contents. Consider adding some tweezers (tick removal), Tincture of Iodine (cuts and water purification), Leukotape (blister prevention, sticks to wet skin)I wrap 6 feet around a plastic card, Cordage (Bank Line), heavy garbage bag (rain protection, emergency shelter and garbage), headlamps.

As a person that went side by side riding in colorado was carrying a hiking bag and go into an accident wish we would of had a turn a kit. My husband used his belt but wosh i was as prepared as you

Lover your videos! I like to be prepared to but I definitely have a lot to learn from you :) My question is, you pack is for you and you mentioned your husband has his stuff and your daughters stuff. Do your other kids carry their own packs? And if so, what’s in theirs? We have 3 boys and I feel like Im the one carrying things for everyone and want my boys (2 are old enough) to carry their own small packs :)

Not sure. Ive taken it out many times. So I suggest testing out how much weight you can handle and adjust accordingly. 😊

Honey is also better than OJ for hypoglycemics and wound care it’s molecular breakdown creates a form of hydrogen peroxide….DO NOT SUBSTITUTE OTHER HONEY FOR MANUKA…the sugar in regular honey will feed the bacteria in wounds…. :).
