I always wore a loose long sleeve cotton t-shirt under my pads for box & field because it felt like my arm pads stayed up better. Also never had to deal with that gross sweaty elbow pad on skin feel. PRO TIP: Use a hair dryer or hand dryer to quickly dry pads
What was your experience like at haverford? I am committed there and I know the coaches have most likely changed since u transferred, but what was it like? And why, did you transfer out: was it due to the cost, the lacrosse load, or the school itself?
Chris been dying to ask for a while, what's your trademark word you used to describe your arm pads slipping? And also how ksi knots sit? My dictionary is struggling
I'm no physical therapist, but there's definitely more impact. Make sure you're stretching and strengthening where you can! Plenty of resources in the running community for good PT
Hiya! Been watching for a little over 6 years now, and I don’t think I’ve ever commented in all that time. (Missed the last year of content tho, havent been playing for quite a while - friend exploded my preferred lax head when tossing the ball around). The 1st video I remember watching was the STX Surgeon 10 500 ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nKePlBfhFVg.html ) Anyways thanks for the tidbits of advice, reliably fantastic string patterns, and theories. Love the content, glad to see you are doing well, and I wish you all the best.
Because I'm 26! I'm the grandpa on the team haha. Never finished undergrad, so I'm wrapping up now and thought I'd take advantage of my MCLA eligibility!
Did two years of undergrad from 2012-2014, officially launched Mainely Mesh in 2014, decided I wanted to pursue an MBA so I'm finishing undergrad now and figured I might as play while I still can! Grandpa is back!
When I played MCLA ball, we had a few older guys play on the club. It was beneficial, like having an extra assistant coach, and they were always good players too!
