I know this isn't part of the "Hospital Bag", but I just wanted to throw this out there: As soon as you find out your wife is pregnant, go get yourself a waterproof mattress cover, just in case her water breaks in the middle of the night while on the bed. That $200 purchase saved me from buying a new $5000 Tempurpedic mattress.

Awesome, man. Very Interesting because the Mrs. is getting me the same bag with a different front panel (I accidentally peeked) for Father’s Day. Our daughter is coming end of July, and I’ve been watching endless videos on what to pack in a hospital bag. The fact that my future bag and hospital essentials is on video from TBG has to be a sign... for something lol let’s call it everything will be fine sign. Thanks again, You guys !keep it up. And I would add some moccasins to walk around in to the bag.

Just got my bag, looking forward to my son. Correction: it does NOT fit a full-size laptop. The zipper stops 1 inch too low, blocking my 17 inch notebook from sliding in. (16.5x11x1) The pouch is tall enough on the inside, but the zipper is not. Please correct on the next iteration of the bag. (The main pouch/zipper is definitely large enough to accommodate.) Also: where is the Camelback/other bladder compatibility? Daypack has it.

Great video. The packing cubes make a huge difference. I regret not getting them sooner. I use 2 on my MOD backpack. One is packed with extra clothes, burping cloth, and a multi purpose light weight blanket. I pack the other one with things to help sooth my daughter.

Great video Beav! Your products rock as always! My wife bought me the diaper bag 3.0 last Father’s Day before our daughter was born at the end of June. We are expecting another nugget in December… time to re-up on the gear. I love how you used the packing cubes for clothes. I’m an OCD organizer as well. #respect *update* just ordered two packing cubes and a new patch : D

Hey Beav! Bumping up an old video as I’m getting ready to pack out my MOD hospital kit. What size are the packing cubes you use? Going to have to throw a few on order tonight.

My boy came early so we had like nothing. Only stayed one night so I went home that night to get stuff and finish getting things ready. I still get crap for "leaving" them but I know they slept more than I did in those few hours.
