OMG! You can survive zombie apocalypse with all that 😂 no shade - just kidding! Honestly, with my first child I’ve arrived to my hospital with a purse (wallet, charger, phone, pen) and when it was time to go home my parents brought me and my baby outfits. Hospital totally provided all essentials. However, I’ve spent there little over 24h.

Gatorade was ESSENTIAL! For my wife. We were so glad we brought it. She was not loving the taste of water during her pregnancy

L&D nurse here, just FYI you're not supposed to cut their nails for the first few months! Get some little gloves so they don't scratch their face. The nails will bleed if you cut them pre maturely. Congratulations, I hope labor and delivery goes well! Can't wait to see the little girl!

In Australia the hospitals don't provide any pads, depends ect so it's great you include it, it's a good reminder :)

I have the same hospital gown! I used it during my second son's birth, but I haven't decided if I'll use it again for this one since I can't have visitors.

Girl, I was in the hospital gowns pretty much the whole time! Haha. I just packed one of my empire waist style maternity dresses to go home in so I wouldn't have to worry about waistbands or anything down there, so to speak. Figured it would work for either type of delivery.

I know they give you a perineal bottle at the hospital but the Frieda bottle was such a big improvement. It was the only one I used postpartum

My daughter scratched herself sooooooo bad. She looked like she got clawed by a cat 😂 And her nails were long too. Nail clippers are smart. My hospital bag was a hot ass mess lol

I know you have the witch hazel foam, but I recommend the witch hazel flushable pads. Just stick them in your underwear and you're good. And flushable so you don't have to worry about having to throw away that grossness.

They don't give you depends in the hospital. They give you mesh underwear with huge pads and giant ice packs. When I got home my husband bought me depends. Next time I'm bringing my pregnancy pillow, depends, nursing bra and sandals

I don’t know if you already made a video about it or not, but what made you decide on trying VBAC instead of a scheduled c-section? I’m 27 weeks and my son was my first pregnancy and I had to have an emergency c-section. I was 42 weeks and labored for 2 and half days with him 😅 So this time I’m tempted to have a scheduled csection so I can have more time with the new baby. Plus I have to use my PTO time up before It expires and I’m due 2 weeks before it expires so I’m hoping to use it before it does! But I’m nervous going into the surgery sober, I had an epidural like 8 hours before I had my surgery so I was tired and ready lol.

I just had my 2nd c section 2 weeks ago. It was scheduled which was relaxing in some way. Justt showing up at the hospital and have it done. Dont get me wrong I was terrified especially walking into my own surgery room. Theres something so damn freaky seeing the instruments, doctors, and the table... when not in labor you get to truly grasp it all... My first baby I also was in labor for hours before they did the c section and I was so ready to get cut open just to get it all over with... But I'll take the calm route any day over dealing with contractions for hours. You'll be ok. Goodluck to you and your family.

I'm surprised they did not tell you that you had to have another c-section. I know a lot of OB's recommend that you continue to get c-sections after a c-section as a vaginal birth can be dangerous. No matter what happens, I wish you luck!
