Hey Foxxy People,
I had open abdomen surgery (opposed to Laparoscopic) to fix my Nutcracker Syndrome & Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. I had what is called a "renal bypass" but there's a similar surgery called "Left Renal Vein Transposition"- "LRVT". When I was getting ready for my surgery and wondering what I needed to bring to the hospital for my 5-7 day stay, there was NOTHING on here showing that info- just baby hospital bags lol
So, I made one!!! I know there are a bunch of people going into similar surgeries, so hopefully this can help you!!
I show what I needed, thought I needed but didn't, and what I needed brought to me that I originally forgot.
Don't forget to subscribe so you can help follow my journey and help spread awareness on these VRY under diagnosed conditions (Nutcracker Syndrome, May-Thurners Syndrome, Elers-Dahnols Syndrome, MALS, SMAS, POTS, and so many more!!)
Thank you all SOOO much for the continued support! We'll be doing a giveaway in my next regular content video (Cricut Quick Tips I think it will be). We're growing so fast and I'm SO happy to be able to continue helping others!!
Until next time ya'll.
Stay Foxxy ;)

Super helpful. I am going in for surgery Wednesday and just trying to make a list up for what I want to bring. I am trying to keep it simple but a heating pad and zip ties were two things I didn’t think of.

The zip ties were very helpful to not have everything hanging off my bedside table. But the heating pad is a MUST!!!!! If you brought nothing else, make sure you bring a heating pad! Lol and the specific water bottle I had was very helpful as well. And get up and walk as soon as you feel you can. My recovery video I explain that too but even while I was still hooked up to an iv pole, I was walking around. It helped with recovery SO much. The gas bubbles were the worst after the first day or 2 and walking helped that so much. Good luck girl. Please keep me posted on your recovery 🥰🥰🥰
