I know little to nothing about goaltending but I found it really interesting how you use the bands for your vision in warmups!

I bet I'm not alone in this: If it's a You Tube channel I really like, I'll sit through all the adverts. I sit through all Trav's YT ads, heck, sometimes even click on 'em. It's pennies, but… gotta keep the money flowing so Trav can tame that goatee, and help keep Sweeney in ice cream.

Only thing I don't understand is, your trying to go pro, you wanna get better, but players need to actually play to become better you have like 15 played games in the last 4 years, It's just not gonna work like this man, you gotta start playing

I'm kinda shocked hearing about the rinks in Sweden having concrete floors. Even the most hillbilly middle of nowhere rink in Canada has rubber floors from the dressing rooms out to the rink.

I got those bands, they're a world of difference. i get lazy sometimes and over confident of not having to track the puck with my line of sight and those bands have helped me a ton. thanks brother!

to stop hits in the collarbone area with the padded shirt, get rid of the padded shirt and buy a goalie neck guard, they have like a thick padded bib that is like a chest protector for your collarbone and neck area (posted without watching full video)

if you use the adhesive foam feet for chair legs on the inside of the dangler where it clangs it makes almost no noise

Look up alphabrain thats what I use for mma and my woodworking businesses (alot of math) keeps me dialed in and sharp in my thinking. Removes that fogginess in my head.

Great look at the gear! I have to admit that I am not a fan of True, after seeing 3 of my friends' True skates erode prematurely. I believe that True will ruin the Lefebvre gear with cheaper materials and construction. Hopefully not, but I won't be surprised.

@8:12 that’s because it’s the old Itech design. When they built them they were like tanks. I have the Itech 960. Best mask I have ever had.

Companies need to make blockers more like the 2s pro. I have a 2s pro and a 2x pro and the 2s is definitely the best. Most pop, insane mobility and very balanced. The vapor is too thin and because of that, is unbalanced.

Good Gear review today... How much do those pegs weigh? still astonished that they do not use pegs over there.

Wow, awesome vid. When I first saw the tile i said "Crap no on ice training clips today." but I really got some good tips. Cutting the bottom flap on the chesty is a great idea. I don't tuck mine in either and it that flap was sticking out of my goalie jersey. I ended up customizing and putting two goalie shirts together to accommodate, so I wouldn't have that beer belly look. I think I will keep the customize goalie shirts, I find the in-between the body and inner arm shots have been less of an issue. Thanks again for the tips.

Why do you have practice gear and game gear

I used a gator padded under shirt and I really liked it if ur ever looking for a new under shirt I highly recommend the gator under shirt

Great vid! I played just before you got the pads that walled out. Last set was Heaton pads & catcher, Bauer blocker and chest. It weight a frickin ton. Wish I had the chance to try the latest gen of goalie gear. It's a special relation you got with your gear as a netminder, it smells like shit after a game and it's lovely! edit: and yeah for mask paint, if you ever get rich, ask David Gunnarsson to paint it, he's really good (you prolly heard about him 1 billion times but anyway). Back in the days, early 00's he did orders for everyday people, not sure how long the queue for a job is these days tho.
