Great video, I love the idea of having mini separate bags to keep everything organised. I also like to keep a pen and mini note pad in my bag as I find it much easier to jot down a thought I want to keep for later, or to write down the time I take pain medications so I don't accidently take too much. The pen I have also doubles up as a torch and stylus. I got it free with some medical supplies I bought a few years back tho im sure there probably readily available elsewhere. I love the paper soap idea, however for the time being I would just fill a mini travel bottle that I already own. You could also repurpose your antibac bottles with liquid soap. Another thing I found comes in handy is to have a nail file on me as there have been many times my nails split and then start to catch if i don't have a file on me. And lastly a packet of pocket tissues and hand wipes have saved me so many times, where I often take my own food out with me (special diet restrictions).
I love all of your ideas and the things you carry in your EDC - the nail file is genius because the nail thing often happens to me, so I might have to steal that one! I totally agree about the pack of wipes - it's an absolute essential - I keep a travel pack of clorox wipes, and then a travel pack of their hand wipes, and also a full size pack of baby water wipes in my car. I like having clorox wipes to be able to disinfect something if needed, the antibacterial hand wipes for when I don't have access to running water but my hands really need to be cleaned well, and then the water wipes are just so useful all around, both for my cats who often come in the car with me, and for me/my passengers as well. For notes, I rely primarily on my phone when I'm on the go, and if I happen to be planning heavily in my pocket bullet journal, then I throw that in my purse too. Writing this out, I realize that I actually rely quite a bit on the items I carry in my car (I have a bunch of survival items like a flashlight etc as part of my car EDC) so I might have to share that on my channel sometime in the future! Thank you so much for watching and for your thoughtful comment! You've given me quite a few ideas on how to level up my EDC in the future!! ❤
Overall, this is probably my favorite ‘what’s in my bag’ video so far, and I’ve been watching them for years. Love the organization and practicality of your items ❤ (And as a site note, it’s a flash drive not a USB. USB describes the part of it that plugs into your device; but the overall storage device is a flash drive 😊)
Nice pouch system. I use the pouch method also. However I’ve spent way too much buying matching pieces and various sets to go with my different bags. I love bags.
Thank you! I can definitely relate to the feeling of wanting everything to match! I try to limit myself to certain categories when it comes to matching - for example, I've customized my switch and all the accessories, so I make sure everything matches in that department, but on the flip side, when it comes to things like kitchen stuff, I value functionality over aesthetics. I also like to build up some of my collections slowly over time via thrifting - it takes a long time but can save a lot of money in the long run!
FYI I believe that sanitizer case has a hole at the bottom so you don’t have to remove the bottle in order to use it :] Tho some people intentionally don’t do that because they’re afraid it will leak.
Omg I can't believe I've been using this thing the wrong way for so many years! I tried it the way you described, and the hole is indeed the perfect size! It's getting trapped in the ridges a little bit when I close it because of the wear and tear on the case but it's still 10x easier than opening and closing it every time like I've been doing! Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! I was very surprised when I looked up the leatherology prices after I purchased the pouch - it's always so fun when you luck out with a good deal! ❤️
Great bag and pouches. You could add a tiny flashlight, bandaids, a tiny Swiss Army knife (the scissors and nail file are a game changer), a tiny lighter, and a little container of hand cream. I would get rid if the can that keeps opening since you don’t love the candies anyway. The tiny card game and the bug bite thing are great ideas!
Thank you! I love all these ideas so much ❤️ I'll definitely be incorporating these into my purse setup! For a lighter - I usually have a paracord bracelet on my bag (it was on another purse when I filmed this video and I forgot to switch it over) which has a tiny compass, flint, and a tiny scraper, so the flint can be used to start a fire if needed. I will definitely look into adding a small swiss army knife - let me know if you have any recommendations! ❤️❤️❤️
That's pretty surprising lol! I feel like usually people put their keys on a hook or on a console table so it's easy to forget to grab them for a video.
Yes!!! The damn chain is super annoying when it catches on my hair if I'm wearing it down lol! But this has become more of my longer-trip purse, so if I'm only going out on errands within a couple miles of my house, I take a smaller handbag with a less annoying strap.
If you're near a Daiso they also sell it in a lot of Japanese/Korean grocery stores and they come in tiny cute little containers almost like the old school Listerine strips 👌🏼
Hi! Thank you for watching the video ❤️ That is a seam ripper that can be used to take apart the thread in a piece of clothing without damaging it. You basically slide the tool between the seam where the thread is, and gently drag it along so the blade can cut the thread and you can pull the two pieces of cloth apart.
The area definitely makes a huge difference! I always try to either go to more expensive areas or big cities with lots of inventory for thrifting! Aside from thrift stores, Facebook B/S/T groups, Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, Offerup etc are great for secondhand finds as well. Lately, my best finds are actually coming from my apartment's dumpster area where people occasionally leave things that are literally like new but just need a good dusting/cleaning! ❤️
I meant to say scent lol but when you're talking to a camera and nervous, it's easy to jumble up your words here and there ❤️ Even I was questioning my word choice for that when editing lol
I hang my keys on the outside of my purse so I can get to them quickly. When I shop, I can flip them to hang on the inside. I don't how women carry all that crap in a purse. I carry a small wallet, my phone, two pens, aspirin, a small note pad and I'm done. I really don't see the need to carry everything and the kitchen sink with me everyday. As for your cat's pill - cut a piece of foam to fit over the top of the pill compartment and the pills will stay in their compartments.
Hi there, thanks for watching! Everyone has unique needs in their life - if I'm just going for a walk around my house, I just bring my phone, wallet, and keys (and hand sanitizer always). But if I'm going farther away from my home, I like to bring everything I mentioned in my video as these are all functional items for me that regularly come in handy. There have been countless times when a public restroom didn't have soap, when I really needed some lip balm, or I cut my finger and needed a bandaid. My mini game has come in handy often on train rides. I like being prepared and having the solution to most problems right there in my purse lol. Also, almost everything in my purse is optimized and small/light, so it doesn't really make my purse difficult to carry around and since I've set it up tp be modular, the items I don't need regularly, don't really get in my way. I love the foam tip for my pill case! That is such a good idea and I'll definitely be implementing it! ❤️❤️❤️
That mosquito thingy is so neat, I didn't even know until your video that we have such a product on our planet...thanks so much for sharing it!! Nice n helpful video overall😊
Thank you!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video ❤️ Having a clear view of everything in my bag has made such a difference - no more frustrated fumbling around in search of my keys every time I have to unlock my door lol
Like I told someone else in the comment section, I meant to say scent, but when you're talking to a camera and nervous, it's easy to jumble up your words here and there, especially as a newer youtuber ❤️
I found the bag at a thrift store! But it's by the brand Elizabeth Grant - you may be able to find one on Poshmark or other secondhand stores online. I would say the bag is medium weight - while the bag itself is light, the chain strap adds a bit of weight.
@lassep7331 No, just occassionally on my period. I use a menstrual cup so the panty liner is the equivalent of carrying a pad/tampon for me - if I ever get my period unexpectedly, I can just pop in a pantry liner until I get home🩸
