One thing that I recommend doing is setting up the forecast home integration and using the sunrise and sunset entities in replace of your night time and daytime motion light automation. You don't have to, but I find it handy when the actual daylight times vary from season to season.
You should add some contact sensors (reed switch). I automated my garage door with a zigbee dry contact relay and a reed switch sensor. They are good for security on all exterior doors and windows.
My suggestions: - Take a look at Node Red - You can use a button in your bedroom to set your house in "sleep mode". You can then base automations on that, like turning on lights dimmed instead of full brightness. If you still want to use "time" I would turn on a "sleep mode" helper at a certain time, instead of building that certain time into all your automations. Some people also use "when phone starts charging after x oçlock" to trigger the sleep mode, but I never charge my phone during the night. - If you don't have it yet: put a lightstrip and motion sensor under your bed. Mine turns on red at a very low brightness when I get up in the middle of the night (when my house is in "sleep mode")
Oh, and get energy monitoring (at the main power line as well as some smart plugs). Be careful with zigbee plugs with energy monitoring because of the large amount of data. I'm using wifi plugs for that (from athom). You can automate things based on energy usage of devices, like washer, dryer, tv, etc.
It looks like the Aqara hub is in a server rack and getting interference. Maybe put it on top of the rack like your zigbee dongle to get better door lock performance.
Sorry off topic, but noticed you have the Plex CT installed and running. I have set this up, but I having issues of getting my media into the Plex CT. How did you do this please?
Im a long time subscriber to your channel and supporter. Its a shame you censored my comment because of your affiliate marketing when Im just trying to inform your viewers.
The P is more popular, but if you want to use other operating systems above what's supported on the E variant such as OpenHAB and you'd like to setup Matter, Thread and Zigbee in your Home Assistant, then the E variant is the way to go. The Sonoff ZB dongle E also uses similar hardware to what's found in the in the official Home Assistant Yellow radio kit.
