Joy hey! My roommate is a middle school counselor, and my aunt is an elementary school teacher. They both meal prep on Sunday nights. My roommmate meal prepped for 3days at a time. And Wednesday nights she'll cook for another 3 days. I also see some teachers who pay trainers to prep for them, or subscribe to a meal prep company.
Hi! I am a teacher and pack every day. Here's tips... I come home right from work and do it. No excuses! I pack quick things like salads. I get pre-made salads in a bag, make some, and pack multiple containers for multiple days. I then do bagged carrots or fruit and also make more than one for multiple days. There are also healthy options like cheese, turkey, and triscut containers that make for great grab-and-go lunches found at any grocery store. Hope that helps!
I’ve been teaching for 30 years. All that’s in my teacher bag is papers I bring home to grade, my calendar, and my Flair pens to grade with. You younguns are cute with your bags and planners. Though I don’t plan to fill my bag like these, I’m obsessed with watching these videos.
Haha I love it! I'll be a first year teacher this year and I was wondering about this very thing. Is this a new teacher thing, and do seasoned teachers do all of this? I'm overly excited, so I'll probably do all of this.
SonicLikesChicken congratulations on beginning your first year! Seasoned teachers who are more on the Type A side absolutely do this (I’ve been teaching 17 years & here I am watching LOL)... You’ll just come to find out what you really need as time goes by. Dee Tee, I’m no youngun but I LOVE me a planner! I make sure to get one with plenty of note pages so I don’t have to carry around an extra pad folio. Also, if you are an early childhood/elementary or just really like bringing lots of hands-on materials, do yourself a favor and get a Thirty One Large Utility Tote (LUT). They stay fairly flat until you need them then they can haul a ton- true lifesavers for corralling presents at Christmas or just for hauling groceries in the house in one trip! Finally, the best advice I give first years is regarding field trips- don’t watch the children, watch the EXITS! All the best to you!

The "3 Positive Things" journal you keep is such an AMAZING idea. I start student teaching in the fall, and I believe this positive affirmation activity will be so beneficial! :)
So glad I found your channel, I've been a teacher for the last 15 years, and I totally agree that it's a very tough job, though quite rewarding as well. Since I teach English (I'm from a Spanish speaking country), I've taught all the levels, from elementary, including pre and kindergarten, all the way to high school, and university. This time around I'm working with pre kinder, first, and fifth level kids. I really enjoy it though it takes a lot of work, you know, planning, checking tests, evaluating activities and tasks, etc. But at the end of the day, I feel so happy when I see my students achieving their goals of learning a second language, and I'm glad that I contributed to it. Hope you keep posting, good job.

Great bag! 😍 Of course it’s from Target. Luxury bags are rarely ever that functional AND stylish. 🤦🏻♀️ The bag they have now has handles that do not lay down like your bag handles - I love that feature on yours.

I know this video is not recent. But I went out and got this bag and OMG thank you!!! This bag is truly amazing. I put my large teacher manual with the other items. I had so much space and was not heavy. Even the items you have I got to make life easier in 3rd grade. My mistake in my 1st yr was taking home everything. again thank you for this. I now have the perfect bag.

I have the same bag! Except mine is the camel colored one. I love it! However, I have 3 classroom (traveling music teacher) so I carry a lot in mine and the straps and sides are starting to break. Hopefully that doesn't happen to yours!

Although I love your idea of carrying a cross body bag inside your large teacher bag. I do not recommend you leaving your bag in the car to run other errands. Maybe leaving your bag at home and then taking your smaller bag. I live in Houston and we have tons of car break ins every day. Your video is awesome.
