I use a 13.5" multi purpose bag (small enough to be very portable but big enough to carry what I like). I carry a Chromebook, Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, one or two smartphones, a pen, business cards, my keys, multi purpose knife and keys for work.
beside the regular things (wallet phone and keys) power bank headphones and knife are my most EDC and as a recommendation since i have the city sling from AER the anker power core slim 1000 it has power pd 18w as well and as the name says its slim way more than the ravpower for the same ammount of.power
Pilot petite pen, a pocket sketchbook ( Yoobi at the moment), and a shemag ( lined with a Ac hpa filter). From there it depends on the trip ill add up diferent items
phone, knife, wallet, 2 sticks of gum, and a pen (sometimes). phone, wallet, and gum in pocket knife on inside of waistband (the clip hangs out) pen behind top button flap on polo shirt
I have a sling bag that goes with me anytime I leave the house. I don't remember the brand, but I got it new from an Army surplus store. It does have YKK zippers, water resistant nylon, a super long and heavily padded adjustable strap, roughly 15 liters of storage and a few strips of MOLLE webbing. The back of the main bag has padding to cushion the hip and side, and a velcro strap to secure it to a belt or add a holster. It has a HUGE main compartment (bluetooth speaker wrapped in 6 microfiber towels, Nebo Leo flashlight, zippo hand warmer and fuel, allergy meds, blistex and orajel, a single AA and AAA battery, D&D dice, Ibuprofen, and if I'm headed to work it also holds my vape battery charger and cord), a convenient mid-size front pocket on the flap (vape juice, coils, vape batteries, Leatherman Skeletool), a top pocket on the flap (fits my Anker 20k MaH power bank like it was designed for it + charging cord), a side pocket (lighter, earbuds, hand sanitizer and hand lotion), a front pocket on the main portion of the bag but is under the flap when closed (extra vape tank wrapped in two microfiber towels, AC phone charger adapter, powder packets for water bottles, extra vape juice, blood sugar test strips and lancets for my best friend because they forget them too often, small note pad, and laser pointer pen flashlight combo it was $1 at Dollar Tree and does what I need it to), it has a drink holster that easily accommodates a 1 liter bottle and a security cord, a small pocket with closure just right for my pocket knife, and a padded hidey pocket in the back that neatly fits my tablet. Boredom is my greatest enemy and I essentially have an entertainment system in my EDC bag.
Okay, as a woman, 17 years old. My EDC is alot different. First of all I carry "manguitos" with are detachable sleeves for both sun and cold. Its very light. I also carry my mini medicine kit + something for mentrual period. I carry ear plugs. They are quintessential in loud places. Planning on buying a really cool in ear. An old second hand Kindle Voyage with has the best screen ever. A fountain pen (is my baby) and, also, mini soft pastels to paint anywhere. There is also water. Water is needed. I also use alcohol-intended recipient. It's glass, but its beauty. Considering on getting a boogie board 8,5 inches for school since I carry expensive paper for drawing/writing. Also considering on making a solid cologne violet + sándalo + a drop of tangerine. A toothbrush beacuse I'm Brazilian and Brazilians brush their teeth almost too frequently. A chinese wooden comb. Some extras I don'thave yet: Ninja card, a 2H pencil, eraser, public phone card, public bus card. Did I forgot something? Pretty sure I did.
Wallet, my Benchmade Vex folder (love it, chonky handle and good sharp steel), CRKT Doohickey, and my OnePlus 6T. Although, watching this made me realize I need a sling pouch.
Phone, Olight s2r baton flashlight, Keyshawn brawler knife, Gerber mp600 bladeless multi-tool, zippo 1941 replica, Blistex, generic swisscard, crkt pryma multitool, zebra F-701 pen with Fisher Space Pen refill. That’s what’s on me every day. My EDC bag has redundancies, electronics and medical.
Sprits Fal that tech is really cheap for stores to implement I don’t understand any store that doesn’t, the UK has it everywhere apart from odd village shop etc
The Davek Umbrella's "Unconditional Warranty" is - you guessed it, conditional. Works fine if you buy it on their website, have to register on their site if you buy it from an authorized reseller. Bought it from amazon, no dice I'm afraid - no sellers there are authorized. How do you tell if a seller is authorized by Davek? No idea. Plus you have to trust that a mere 16 year old designer company doesn't go belly up.
Snacks...you need some kind of snack in there man. Jerky or a power bar or something. I have a few slings (Expensive) like the Tumi Kelly sling (I only use it when I am flying for airport work...im guessing 4L-5L good for a bottle of water, snacks, chargers and ear phones for the plane ride.) and (waterproof) like the chrome urban ex which is literally bullet proof if you are on a trip and it wont stop raining and you do that...."screw it, we are going to go walk around all day in the rain" moment (10L) and security oriented like the Pacsafe Vibe 150 (2.5L for those sketchy AF locales like souteside chicago) and the AER tech sling (7L, for work if you want to go "minimal"..it holds an ultra book and work stuff just fine at a smaller foot print than a laptop bag) but i have been looking at the AER day sling for probably a year now thinking: "how many slings do I need?"??? Mostly I gravitate towards slings big enough to carry an Ipad (except for the Tumi and smaller Pacsafe obviously) because if i am out all day and end up at the coffee shop or waiting around in a book store,...the ipad comes in handy to kill time. Also if we do some shopping and I buy some smaller items, i can just stuff them in the larger slings. AER just makes such good stuff though. Pro tip: If traveling just use what ever sling bag of you choice as your dopp kit/toiletry bag/tech pouch if you want to pack it without it actually taking up any extra room in your bag.
I know exactly what you mean about the old sling bag, if really want to get myself one, an aer or code of bell will be my choice but i just cant bring myself to do it... they are looking pretty cool.. but... meh, i just don’t know 😂 If you like the MIG pen, you should check out the one he made for us, he did what we call the ‘mini mig cooperator, it is a smaller sized pen, made out of copper with a titanium tip, it is a lovely pen, they were made in Aus as well. I now need a carbon fibre comb! Thanks for sharing this with us matey!
fuck, I know man, it's hard right now. to be perfectly honest, I was questioning even posting it. like I know you guys want content to watch during all this bullshit, but I feel bad posting stuff that makes people want to buy things they can't afford right now. I even have some phone and laptop reviews, but it's not like anyone can afford that shit right now...I genuinely feel bad
First video I have watched and I am already subscribed! I love all the comments you slipped in throughout and look forward to seeing future videos from you
What are those light bars in the background . Thx and I'm buying that flask I have the same bag. I carry a Swiss army huntsman scissors, small screw driver, knife ,etc light and fits in the small pockets also a worksharp compact sharpener. And c'mon a bandana. Small bag with a mask and nitrile gloves 4 mil .
Yo this video is awesome! I love your videos but I never expected to see and EDC video from you which is another one of my hobbies/interests! Sweet set up!
Nice edc but that bag is just small enough to be viewed as a man purse. I dont have a problem with that if that's your preference but I need something large enough to hold my laptop as well as normal sized water bottle. Thanks anyway for the video.
Dope video. I might have found a new hobby, the flies in my wallet thank you 😭😂. Anyway, I carry my phone, wallet, keys, earphones (and carry pouch), mini umbrella, mini first aid, flashlight, prescription, eczema cream, cologne, extra charger, and mints, pen and paper. Maybe something fun just to fidgit with? But that's it....and I carry a tote....
Ya.. I went to check out that Urban EDC website. You can't be serious. Even if I had seconds to live and that website was the only place that had that essential survival tool. I would rather die knowing I wasn't stupid enough to spend that kind money and getting totally ripped off. Great video anyway.
Dude is the best damn tech RU-vidr period. None of the cookie-cutter G-rated stuff. Entertaining, fun, relatable. Hey, serious request: bring back the clap. Well, not "the clap", but the clap at the end. …..that got weird.
Man, just found your channel and love your videos BUT When you said A.E.R instead if (AIR) I was bummed, THEN Big (i) Design and not Big (I)dea I was like damn.....
Nice video Jared. I love my Chicago Carbon Fiber Comb...just stumbled across your Channel...hit the subscribe button, so I’ll be looking forward to enjoying more of your productions...Ed
Love the video, made me sub ur channel. You r missing one crucial thing in the edc - a real multi tool. I can;t imagine leaving home without a leatherman or at least SAK though i prefer a leatherman 'cos pliers are simply so blood useful
Using the discreet flask as a water bottle is genius! I've been wanting to use my sling bag more, but not being able to pack my water bottle in it has made me not want to use it haha. Looks like you've figured out my solution though. Thank you!! 😊
For once.... An EDC that's practical and cool. Sick of these guys carrying half the planet in their pockets and none of it is actually very good. This whole setup is mean!👍🔥

I went through a couple of urban EDC videos and your was most informative and entertaining at the same time. Thanks to you I've realized that I'm already carring and EDC, although somewhat bare - yet my T101 Thor knife in my pocket brings a bigger dose of coolness which is being ommitted in every EDC video (just kidding). Thanks for the video.
Streamlight Micro flashlight, Fishers Space Pen Bullet (not that awesome of a pen but so small), Keysmart Pro. Since I'm American, add a pewpew in there too haha
