I have been asked what I carry in my Veto bag for HVACR service. let's take a look. this is the MB3 loaded with service in mind. @VetoProPacToolBags are the best out there. best warranty, best service, and the most rugged durable bag you can buy. I recently moved the contents into a brand new MB3B with slightly more room, took advantage of vetos no downtime warranty, and will be using my new MB3 differently.

Reminds me of when I go through my work tool bag determined to shed some weight. Tip it all out determined to only put at most half of it back. Go through each tool one by one trying to be realistic about what I ~really~ need in my daily carry and what can stow in the vehicle. Always end up putting all but one or two tools back in the bag. Those couple things I then stow in the vehicle I end up needing the next day and back in the bag they go :D :D Lessons learnt: EITHER.... A: Need a bigger bag. OR.... B: Get mental therapy so I don't believe having to go back to the vehicle to get a tool mid-job is the end of the world. Soooo..... option A it will be. At least for as long as my back holds up :D

😆 Thanks, Chillybrit! That is exactly what I was doing. I did upsize, too. I moved into the MB3B.

Its always funny how some obscure tools find their way into our bags. I went to the MB5B for service as it has the backpack straps. Its a little big but less teips back to the van. Awesome video brother.

Still have my MB3 too. Its turned into my hydronics bag. You are 100% correct....you very seldom need more than the basics for troubleshooting. Loved the video brother man

Thanks, Bryan! Switching to a new van, moving to an MB3B, and converting my MB3 to hold my fieldpiece probes. Hopefully, I will have a van tour ready soon.

@@EverythingHVACR you’ll like the MB3B. I took the insert out that came with it and bought a v swap panel and put it in their. Worked pretty good. I use it to store my sheet metal tools now.
@EverythingHVACR

@fshn76 I do like it, just slightly bigger, so I have more room and origination than I had before with the same load out.

Good video, and I do the same thing, I usually take my meter, a light and a 8-1 screwdriver. I'm looking into getting a mb3 bag, for a quick diagnostic bag. But awesome video as well.

Thanks, Ale! I just swapped with the MB3B. My MB3 now holds my fieldpiece probes. I'm switching to a new van, so I'm trying to get my shit together 😆. Hopefully, I will have a van tour ready soon.

Two questions: What have you settled in for a flashlight and why? Why carry extra screwdrivers when you have the Klein with multiple shanks?
@EverythingHVACR
@EverythingHVACR 6 месяцев назад
Good question on the screwdrivers. Honestly, I hadn't thought about it, but the klein is insulated, so if I need a quick prybar 😆 I can spare my good screwdriver. Fenix LD22 is by far my favorite and is my EDC flashlight. Compact, lightweight, bright, multiple brightness settings and a rechargeable battery that last, with no flickering or other issues. When it dies, it does die. It just goes out. That would be my only criticism, I love this flashlight. HVACR Survival has some videos on Fenix products, and that's where you can find some good demonstration videos. As always, thanks Jay!
