These days I have the Curve Metal, Amex Platinum, Starling (Backup), Driving license, Staff pass (2 cards) and a membership card in my wallet. 7 in total... However, like Andy I have accumulated a ridiculous amount of accounts. No wallet big enough for them all.

Hi Andy, I carry the new style flip Wilbest leather wallet with built-in card flip up, holding 6 non raised numbers cards, driving licence included, plus 6 cards in the wallet in the extra pockets, plus a concealed note pocket where I usually carry £50 in cash for emergencies. The wallet itself is only 3" × 4". Same as you my most used cards are Chase for everyday spend, Hsbc world elite for world travel, plus free access to all airport lounges, and the Revolute black Metal for worldwide exchange, also my Barclaycard Rewards card and my American express are used quite often too. So a total of 12 cards, carried all the time.. Love ❤️ your channel keep up the good work.

I carry 4 cards. 1 visa debit, 1 visa credit, 1 mastercard debit, 1 mastercard credit. I don't have an amex. Loyalty cards on fobs, except boots is on their app.

Really interesting video, Personally since the pandemic I got an iPhone holder that holds 2x cards - I usually hold chase or Halifax clarity and amex in it. I then use stocard and Apple Pay on Apple Watch for pretty much everything. I also hold just £20 emergency cash on a key ring holder and a £1 coin on key ring too.

I am the same, I carry Amex, Barclay CC and Chase Debit. Stocard for all my memberships and apple pay with all my other cards linked. 20£ in case and few coins.

For those without legacy advantages would suggest getting a Plutos card with 3% cashback adding the Curve subscription as a perk which basically means you get Curve Black for free.

You can also add your loyalty cards to google pay/ wallet. So, no need for an additional app

I've been doing the same for years too 👍🏻I only carry my Chase card, drivers licence and Sainsbury's credit card physically. The rest I use via ApplePay and it's great that Sainsbury's now supports that too. It took them a while to catch up on that. I stopped using Curve due to the Sect. 75 cover and the fact my cashback ran out ages ago so I don't see any point is using Curve at all now. I had forgot though that if I only want to carry one card, then Curve would be great for that. Thx Andy 🙂 P.S. may be worth mentioning about swapping AMEX cards that you won't get the big sign up bonuses if you've had an AMEX within 2 years. Sometimes it's only the sign up offer that is worth doing it for as the ongoing offers are usually rubbish.

@@BeCleverWithYourCash Thx for the video, however to be crystal clear here about AMEX bonus rules..... I have 2 AMEX cards but none of which were applied for within the last 2 years. Am I eligible for new card bonus offers? OR do I have to cancel them both and then wait 2 years?

Dear Dan great channel but ...please use more cash then cards...don't make a banks richer. Go to the cash point - withdraw money and use them! Don't be that lazy! I had noticed that cashiers at supermarket are panicking when I use cash :-) and when I use 50 they call the manager! WTF? What wallet for cash do you recommend please? Think it's only Barclaycard who don't allow connection to Google pay. HSBC do as I got a credit card just to avoid having to use my bank card. They're such a dinosaur bank but I like their interest rates

The only minus of having them on the phone is that some supermarket stores don't have a very good signal strength to allow you to open the wallet or app so that's the only reason why I still carry mine.

You don't need an internet connection at all to use Google or Apple Pay. You'll only need internet when first adding a card to your wallet but that's it

I find that even these days you still have to carry a small amount of cash the number of times that I have gone into a coffee shop and their device for paying by credit or debit card is broken so you can only pay with cash

Being an android user I'm very annoyed with barclays not allowing Google pay. It's put me off using them as my non-amex back up credit card. I use the Lloyds bank cashback credit card where I need section 75 and they don't take Amex.

It's not barclays fault the android system allows companies to create payment systems which would be cheaper for them unlike apple who only allow apple pay.

@@H80989 you're quite right. I did look into it and discovered the fact of the matter reason why. But it bothers a lot of people and its barclays who are losing customers. People aren't switching to apple to get the best experience with barclays, they're going with other cards/accounts. I suppose barclays don't mind too much they have enough customers.

11:10 HSBC definitely works with Google Pay, think it's only Barclays that doesn't support Google Pay, but they do support Apple Pay. Great video Andy!

I think Andy meant Samsung Pay. It only has around 10 banks so Curve or Samsung Pay + is the work around.
