Congrats and welcome to parenthood, Maxi & Liz 🥳 Not sure if you will read this but can I just make a few recommendations? You can bring other things like: - Charger and powerbank - Maybe a camera with wrist strap cause you can be nervous and accidentally drop your phone on the floor ( it happened to a friend of mine 😅 ) - Official documents ( a must! ) - A few maternity underwear, bra and pads ( if it is a normal delivery ) - Water bottle with sipping straw ( my own preference as it is much easier to drink than from a cup ) - Earbuds or airpods to listen to calm music - Small towel / handkerchief in case baby vomits after drinking milk - A spare maternity dress ( different sizes if possible ) in case of feeling bloated or pain during movement - Makeup or cleansing wipes/ mini toiletries cause getting out of bed after delivery may be painful - Lip balm / ointment and socks cause hospital suites can be quite cold - Nappy rash cream ( not sure if hospital has this ) - Newborn hand mittens too! - Maybe a mini air purifier ( a bit extra but pandemic times, better be safe than sorry 😬 ) Things you don't really need: - Baby diapers and wipes ( usually hospital will provide cause newborns need to be changed frequently ) - Perfume ( newborn's nose is quite sensitive ) Other than that, you are quite prepared. Keep calm and think happy thoughts. Good vibes only. All the best and may you have a smooth delivery! 😊
