What's In This Canyon? Searching For Caves In The Utah Desert 

After previously discovering an interesting cave in a canyon in the Southern Utah desert mountains, I thought I'd return and try a different canyon.
Generally speaking, coming across above ground caves in the desert is always fascinating since they all tend to have been dwelled in at some point in history. Usually the only thing remaining is the soot covered ceilings indicating plenty of fires inside from people seeking shelter. Sometimes, I come across prehistoric rock art or turn of the century artifacts.
So you never know what you'll come across which is the reason to get out there and explore.
