As we enter the house, you can see the typical building materials humans use to make them. The walls are constructed from elaborately cut pieces of wood, and as you can see here, the floors are covered almost entirely in a layer of fibers called a carpet. The creatures will often use their saw-like tools to cut down entire trees, and then burn the wood in here - the fireplace. Now, another thing, is that the house is carefully partitioned into separate rooms, each with its own purpose. Here, we have a dining room, where the humans take the food they brutally sliced and tore apart in the kitchen, and serve it to their families and guests. Though not as large as a gorilla or a chimpanzee, these apes are massive - averaging 137 pounds, and can eat over 2000 calories every day. Now this the bathroom. Humans have been known to build enormous networks of pipes to transport water to and from their habitats - one of the most complex structures in the animal kingdom. This basin is for bathing, and this smaller one - this is where their droppings go. Now you're probably wondering... Where's the poop? Well, if I were to poop in this right now, all I would have to do, is pull the lever like this, and a stream of water would carry the animal's waste far away and thus keeping this house clean. At the bottom of this stairway right here is the basement. It's no longer safe to go down here, as this shelter has been abandoned for a long time. But we can see some of the items they collect down here - WOW, now THAT is a refrigerator. It can store food for days, or sometimes even weeks. Now that's impressive. Going toward the top, we find the remains of a mattress. It doesn't seem like much, but humans use these things for a variety of different purposes. First, we have sleeping. A human that sleeps on a hard surface is cranky, and prone to fight with other humans. But a mattress provides comfort. And sometimes, you can even find shiny objects that they collect and trade for other humans' stuff. This structure is abandoned now, and long since reclaimed by smaller animals like birds and insects, so it's fairly safe to explore. But pry one of these things open when a human's inside, and you'll be lucky to make it out alive. And that's why we always recommend to never approach or attempt to handle wildlife on your own. Coyote, the "kitchen" Is actually a parlor. For the time period the house would've been from, that would've been a parlor because that is very nice flooring.
