Wow, I was so glad to see this because I started doing this myself recently but I tripped into it. I was in my Library thinking there were probably photos I don't want or need anymore. As I was culling some of those, my 25W light bulb went off and said: Give them another look. Well most of them still went to the trash heap but there were a handful of shots that truly were improved. The Columbia River/Cannon Beach stretch is a wonderful trip. I remember waking up at the Skamania Lodge outside the town of Stevenson and hearing the enormous sound and power of a diesel train horn echoing through the gorge. 👍👍 Happy Holidays Kirk!
Merry Christmas! Archive stills and videos are wonderful. The timing of the archive is perfect. There has been a lot of software improvements that can take past photos to the next level.
Happy Holidays Kirk; good advice to go back through previous work. I retired from my job a few weeks after the start of the UK COVID lockdown in 2020. For a lockdown project I re-edited the images I had taken a few years back with my Nikon D40X and D7000, and started using DXO PureRAW. I was amazed at how much sharper and noise-free these photos were compared with the original edits. Had to wait for year, though, before PureRAW 2 was released and I was able to do the same with my noisier Fuji images.
