Jesus, Lynn Thompson is such a treasure to the knife community. Honestly wish I had appreciated how he made Cold Steel the "Cold Steel" we knew and loved when he was still head honcho there. Now CS just feels like a shadow of their old company and I have no doubt that Lynn was the reason for that dynamic shift in the company. Such unapologetically, brash, in-your-face knives whenever Lynn's around for a pocket check. Thanks for the content from B.S. 2023 Blade HQ!

Some of these people are so cringey carrying all that bullshit. Like Taylor carrying around 3 knives plus a razor blade and a multi tool…. And then a $150 pencil and fountain pen for all the times you just need a pencil in your day to day life …. It’s gotten to where people are wearing Fanny packs just to carry their toys around. How can people take them seriously?
There's much pocket trash in EDC communities nowadays, but i think it's totally normal to kind of show-off in an event like that. After all everyone is there to see blades.

The guy from Blade HQ was ridiculous. How many times in his lifetime did he need to defend himself with his knives or gun. He’s concerned about being able to cut through leather jackets if he’s attacked. Ridiculous.
Lynn Thompson is about as real as they come. Man went head-to-head with a wild water buffalo just to test one of his company's spears. Lotta these people are pencil-pushers, make no mistake. Lynn is not.
