In this one, we head up to our good friend Montana Rock Mom's house to cut open some rocks! We brought with some big agates, oddball petrified wood, corals and more to see what is hiding inside! I was not prepared for how cool our results would be, which includes the coolest piece of agatized wood I've ever seen and a Montana Agate that is unlike any other! As if that wasn't cool enough though, we also brought along some rocks to polish on Kim's wet angle grinder! It was an absolute blast! I hope you all enjoyed this one, and I will have another one out very soon!

That was the weirdest, most extraordinary piece of wood, ever! Gorgeous! The coral you polished was really gorgeous and i think the difference in shine is way prettier! That quartz agate is beautiful. It does look like it got folded. As a matter of fact, all of them were weird! Weirdly beautiful and absolutely stunning! My favorite was the bear canyon with the giant cave in it! But they were all just stunning! Not a dud in the bunch! Awesome day! I loved Alexis's cameo! And Thank you MRM for letting us feed drogon! That piece of petrified wood with the beautiful montana dendritic agate center just blows my mind. Gotta love muriatic acid- really brought out that deep amethyst pocket. Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: I enjoy your videos so much and this one is no exception! Kim's videos "rock" also. I started following her videos the first time I saw her on one of your videos in your early days. I admire and respect how she fosters excitement and mentoring among "rock heads" new to our hobby. OK, pure guess here. That super cool agatized wood amazingness looks like what happens to wood right where a trunk begins to branch out and the two branches start to grow back into one another as they get bigger and the bark patterns get absorbed into the wood.

My favorites are the red agate at the beginning, 11:10 the outer space sunset with 2 suns, the glacier vortex directly after, and the amethyst cave @ 15:41. Basically all of them!

6:55 I have a stone like that! I dug it out of the ground while walking a trail in Ann Arbor, MI. I cannot for the life of me figure out what the heck it is beyond "some kind of silicate" lol. My best guess is seam agate with the matrix weathered away but truly no clue. Mine has iron inclusions so it's just an intense looking piece, blue and white and orange and red. It's got bubbles and banding and god knows what else. Seriously geeked to see what's inside yours!!!

Theo Kellison the slab you held up is a beautiful picture in it's own right if you mounted it with a light behind it ( like a night light) you could call it Duck By The Lake. As if you look at that slab you will see a duck head off on the left with the outline of a lake behind it made by the lighter colored agate in the center. Extremely Cool. Extremely Beautiful. That was the picture i saw. Love the crazy rocks that come your way and youre carvings are amazing.

Mmm Mmm! Vuglicious!!! That pocket in the big bear canyon is fabulous! I'd consider measuring the depth of the pocket and cutting it again to better display the crystals. You could have a fabulous amethyst geode AND a large crystal ring that you could maybe backlight or something. It's fabulous as is but personally if I had the means I'd want to see more of that pocket somehow. Also loved that really weird agate 14:20. You have to wonder how some of this stuff formed it looks so bizarre.
