Today we take apart some IEM's! woot woot!
We check out final's E5000, Tin-hifi C2 and Waner's DD. unfortunately I was not able to completely release the Cadenza from its grave but we at least discovered a bit more about its beryllium DD...

Did you make video about Huayunxin drivers you mention ed 37:30 I found them on aliexpress, and I'm curious if they are any good. I'm looking for a driver for my first diy single dd iem. My plan is to make it similar to tanchjim oxygen. Do you have any recommendations for the driver? And where to get them?

Hey! I was really inspired by your review of Kiwi Cadenza and I was that close to buy my first pair of those chunky looking IEMs, but after the whole glue situation I don't even know anymore. At first I thought that it wasn't that bad but after viewing more of your videos it become obvious that that jelly is kinda big deal and it might destroy the driver over time. Can you please recommend any alternative to it?

really neat stuff, you've come a long way from fixing broken iems. have you seen the akg/samsung driver? it's a dual dd with the small dd stacked on top of the bigger one.

Yeah I bought a few of them. Good drivers! But they only fit in those 10.5mm AKG shells.

The right side of my Tin Hifi C2 has no bass and the volume is a bit lower, what it could be?

Tin Hifi said the C2 driver is the exact same as the Moondrop Aria LCP driver. It's crazy how fast the market goes.

It sounds similar to Aria with a Y3 filter at added to the front vent, and 200 mesh added to the nozzles. Makes me think Aria was slightly over damped.

Probably not going to cause a problem unless you crack it open and go ham on it with a pair of tweezers. Everything he complains about being disturbed by the glue he screwed up himself while tearing at it like a madman.

What is your take on sound quality capability between driver material. Is LCP a better material for SQ than PEEK, PET or PC?

I'm not sure about capability. I honestly don't have enough experience listening to different drivers. I own a few and I have a small idea of their different timbres/resolving capability but I honestly couldn't tell you which one is best or why.

if you like the cinema camera look, a lot comes from uncompressed raw codec, you can try it for free with motioncam android app that captures raw video you still have the sensor small size limitation a smartphone but with your type of closeup video you can improve noise level with strong lighting and you'll only lack depth of field of bigger sensors

Most of these companies are owner by kz or made in same factory Only Moondrop is different Tungzu TRN CCA QKZ KsBear etc etc are all part of KZ Same shells drivers Box printing etc

QZK is not a part of KZ. They're a different company. QKZ makes iems for for a lot of companies. Truthear, Trippwin, kbear I believe, maybe some KZ iems although KZ says they make all their own iems. And then you have blon who make their own, and you have kinera who make their own, although I'm sure they use companies like QKZ for some of their iem assembly.
