Hey Guys! In today's video, we're going to explore the Pusan National University dormitory and campus! Let's see what's inside one of 10 national universities in South Korea!

aaaa thank u so muchh. Vlognya ngebantu banget. Sempet kaget karena dikira biaya dormnya 1juta lebih perbulan😭 pas liat komen dan tau ternyata itu buat 4 bulan langsung lega banget huhu Mau tanya, untuk tinggal di dorm ini ada batas waktunya ga? Misalnya kalau udah setahun harus pindah dan ga boleh lanjut tinggak di dorm lagi. Atau boleh sampai lulus? Thank you in advance!!^^

How did u cope with the 100% Korean language and the topik level 4 score..... Did u start learning the language before u got to korea or after

My friend Khun (the one in the video) is a KGSP scholarship student. As a KGSP scholarship awardee, he had to take 1 year of Korean language class in Korea before studying in the university, and he got a TOPIK 4 as a result of that. Khun didn't study Korean before coming to Korea. My other friend, Jason/Mingxin (the other one in the video), studied Korean language before coming to Korea. He took Korean language course in his country, and got TOPIK 5 as a result of that. So, I think it's possible either way, whether you study Korean before or after coming to Korea, considering that KGSP Korean language course is quite intensive (5 times a week, 4 hours each), I think you can get a high level TOPIK by doing that.

Halo! Biaya asrama yg tertera di video itu untuk per semester (4 bulan). Untuk masa vacation (2 bulan) ada biaya tambahan, sekitar 350.000 Won/bulan. Semoga membantu!

Biaya gym sepertinya sudah include di pembayaran dormitory. Tapi kurang tau juga, karena saya akan ke sana nanti sekitar 2 bulan lagi (nanti bakal update comment ini). Overall nice vid, jadi semacam overview wongbee hall sebelum saya berangkat ke sana hhe.

Hey! I'm looking for Korean universities and I don't like those dorms that don't have a kitchen, but I saw a dorm tour of an international student and that dorm didn't have a kitchen.

@@melisaperez9056 No, that dorm is for Dongseo University student. If you want to study in Pusan National University, your dorm option are the ones I've showed in the video. There are no kitchen for the dorm. My friend said there are kitchen for people who don't eat certain meat because of religion. For example, Muslim people can cook in the kitchen because they don't eat pork.

Depends on which major you choose, some majors are in full Korean, some offers English

Hello, it depends on the major and level of studies you're taking, some of the majors are taught fully in Korean, and some are in English.

Hello! Sorry, I forgot to mention it in the video, the costs are for each semester (around 4 months). For vacation months (around 2 months), there's an extra fee of around 350,000 won/month (including meals). Hope this helps!

@@mplaylist1597 It depends on each university, but in case of PNU, they do provide meal plans in their dormitory application. As for the payment, you can follow the steps provided by them when you apply to the university.

@@IndrainKorea Does this mean that you can stay in the dorm during the vacation months? I'm planning on studying 2 semesters at the PNU and I hope that I don't have to leave the dorm between the semesters :)

Halo, setahu saya kalau yg muslim boleh nggak ngambil meals plan dormnya, jadi tidak perlu membayar biaya mealsnya. Disampaikan dlu ke pihak dormnya tapi.

Kak mau tanya kan kgsp cuma dpt 1 juta won trus biaya dorm sama makan saja sudah lebih dr 1 juta won. Apakah 1 juta won yg sudah diberikan dr beasiswa tdk cukup untuk kehidupan satu bulan disana?

Halo, betul KGSP ngasih uang saku nya sekitar 1 juta won/bulan. Biaya dorm + makan yang aku tampilin di video ini itu untuk /semester, bukan /bulan, jadi cukup kok uang saku dari KGSP. Maaf kalau infonya ada yang kurang jelas.

Can a foreign student work part time job?

Hello! Yes! International Students are allowed to work part time job, it depends on the visa you have, but for international students it's usually a D-2 Visa, which allow you to work up to 30 hours/week. Hope this answer your question.

@@mplaylist1597 I'm not sure about that, but generally you can do part-time work after you received your "Alien Registration Card". It takes around 2-3 months to get it after you first arrived here. You also probably need transcript of your first semester there, which mean that you need to at least finish your first semester before doing part time work. For details, you can check it on PNU website regarding part time work for student.
