@@Amanda_kingxx I used to fly for Ryanair as cabin crew but it was totally different, we had 4-5 short legs a day but never had any layovers, we always flew home in the evenings
I flew Emirates twice, and I never encountered any problems. Yip we ladies can shop. It's best to buy a portable bag scale to check if you are over . Better safe than sorry.
Hi Amanda. Hope you're doing well. Have you ever packed appropriate clothing for a certain destination and ended up in a totally different location. I imagine a turnaround that goes wrong you could?
Hi Amanda, Loved you video, one quick question, What all amenities can a passenger take home with him flying in first class. I haven't found a single video on it.Thanks
Hi Amanda (sister) ...i am 16 years old from india ...and i hope that one day we gonna fly together as cabin crew in Emirates ...wish me luck I am Arnav(future/aspiring cabin crew)
i have amazing respect for a cabin crew...look at the amount of stress they have inflight...i have seen as a regular traveller...most times they are up on their feet attending , serving....God bless u all...for the serving attitude u keep despite the tiredness and stress....
Dear Amanda, I don't even know where to start. I'm Adrián Bodó, 15 years old. I'm from Hungary. I live with foster parents. My biggest dream is to be a cabin crew at Emirates, and you are my inspiration, my role model. I can't wait to turn 21 and finally make my dream come true. I had love airports, airplanes and airlines since I was a small child. I became a lover of flying, so that I had never travel by plane before.😅 My love for Emirates is already well established. Emirates is my favorite airline. I love it! Thank you, that you are. Thank you for making videos about your daily life as a cabin crew. I have always looked up to you and will always look up to you. Never stop making videos. For me, you are a support. You and Emirates are the best. I love you!❤️ With love, Adrián Bodó (dreamer, preparing to be a cabin crew)
Hi Adrián! Thank you so much for such a beautiful message! This is so inspiring, never lose this passion and when you turn 21 chase your emirates dream! But did you know most airlines will hire at 18 years so you could even start your flying dream earlier! You’ll get more experience that emirates will LOVE to see on your CV! Can’t wait to see you in the sky’s one day! ✈️ Much love all the way from Dubai! 🫶
I love Emirates n thank you for the detailed educative videos about life in the Sky. Incredible beauty you display for the Airline. Wish you good luck in your career, continue to Soar
My son is currently on an Emirates flight Cape Town SA to Brisbane Australia via Dubai...on the CapeTown to Dubai leg now. He had such a good experience flying over he doubts, where possible, he'll never fly any other airline!
As far as I know 32kg is an international limit for a piece of luggage on all airports just to ensure that the pieces can still be lifted by one person during baggage handling.
I realize that you’re a flight attendant and need to pack certain things, but I have some questions. Why would you pack the majority of your electronics and medications in your checked bag? What happens if your checked bag gets lost? Also, I thought that it was advisable to pack your medications in your cabin bag.
as a fly-in/fly-out worker on oil rigs, depending where I'm working, we are limited to 12kg total baggage each on the helicopter. Can be tough if not assigned to one particular rig as we need to take overalls, steel-capped boots and a hard-hat, etc, and none of that is small or light. throw in a company laptop, other accessories, toiletries, and a couple of books, and that's it really. The good thing is, we dont need heaps of normal clothes, as we cant go anywhere, plus all our washing is done for us daily. As I also take a lot of normal flights, I also get to see a lot of domestic and international cabin crew doing their jobs, and I still dont know how you manage to stay so calm and professional when you have at least a couple of morons on every flight.
So cool to see you enjoyed RSA 🇿🇦, from Johannesburg, moving to Dubai end of July, joining the Emirates family, as Sous Chef in the VIP lounges! Watching your videos to see all the tips and your adventures 🌸💥♥️
You could put items in your shoes & roll your clothes up as it gives more space in your case (It’s only a suggestion). That’s what I do if I am travelling. How do you get your food through customs because some countries are very strict on what food items your bring into those countries as you know like Australia etc? Thanks for sharing great video.❤
For what I heard I'm several flight attendants from different airlines, they can't eat the food from the plane. And sometimes they have unexpected delays. So they take their own meals and snacks 😊

I use my iphone for all my videos, but the camera brand I have in the video is canon! Camera, lens and bag links are all in the video description for you 😍
I don’t know but i lost my camera when checked in the main bag where i had just started travelling-is it the right thing to do-but again learnt lot of things from you, thanks again
Do you get time to hang out at the countries you visit and also do you like hang out alone or do you maybe go out with friends that are cabin crew as well
A mix of everything! I find though I personally like to do most things by myself on layovers cause I have certain spots or food places I want to go to! But in Dubai I catch up with other cabin crew friends 🫶
If you ever get a flight to Houston I'll help you and Zack get some groceries to take back. You should apply with southwest airlines. You could live here in Texas.
After recently flying with Emirates and Qatar, I would rate Qatar staff much higher. The standard of service is much higher, and you don't feel hesitant to ask them if you need anything. The staff are Philippino, African and Indian and they seem to be genuinely great at customer service. Also, Doha airport is way better than Dubai. This comment is based purely on my experiences.
