I'm currently carrying a G19 but have been considering a G17 as well. My hands are on the smaller side, but ironically, the ergos on the 17 are better for me, and with today's holsters and EDC belts, it is easier than ever to carry a full size gun! As Clint Smith says, "Carry the biggest gun that you can comfortably carry!"
I wonder what Mr. Baker thinks about Bill Rapier (devgru operator with 20 years seal team 6 over 10 combat deployments) fighting system. Bill believes side carry(3 oclock) is better for fighting specifically intergrated combat systems where you fight with firearm, blade, hand to hand. Bill is also a black belt in BJJ so would be interested to see what Mr. Baker thinks of his system. Both are legit in my opinion
