Is it possible that Jupiter was even larger at one point? Large enough to create fusion. Yes. What i am proposing is Jupiter was a small star in its early life. Jupiter's moons not pulled in from some other place but the product of Jupiter's own fusion reactions. Jupiter is smaller today because it burned off its mass through this fusion process. . If my theory is correct then what about the other gas giants like Saturn? What do you think?

I agree. Look up videos on our Sun, if you want to be really terrified. Only the balance between the inward pull of gravity and the outward push of the heat from fusion keeps it stable. Any unbalance in either would be catastrophic for earth, but it's been relatively stable for billions of years.

When i was a kid I never dreamed of being an astrounaut bc of the many movies and videos i watched about space. I always got terrified of how many weird and unexplainable stuff could kill me there. I obliviously won't understand what each thing is. But i knew roughly that they weren't good.

Sadly, we are a very long way from any human travel to other planets. At very least, a very long way from from fast and safe travel. The vast majority of astronauts have never even been outside of earth's atmosphere, and none have been outside of earth's gravity.

They made one, the Galileo entry probe, but it was really hard to get data from it. It had a strange reinforced antenna that had to have a protected design while still sending data to the Galileo spacecraft above. We can do better today. We just need interest!

Maybe instead of a spacecraft we can send a swarm of nanobots made of diamond, or somehow direct a field of entangled quantum particles that can measure one variable like temperature or pressure in such an extreme environment.

Lack of a landmass within the area of the storm track, and a lot of heat generated by the oceans would be my guess as to why storms have an extended duration on that planet. If Jupiter has any sort of solid ground, it is submerged.

I've been wondering what it would have been like since I was 6 years old. I'm now 31. Man, how my younger self would have freaked out so much with all these new space-related content and discoveries. @DJ Mega Aim Productions 17 That was the general consensus back in the day, however, with those extreme conditions, it my not be farfetched to imagine a core which does have have a truly solid state. Imagine this, in simple physics (I'm clearly not a professional) we know that the higher a solid object is heated up, the more its basic structural particles are excited and would eventually 'move' away from each other such that it forms a liquid, and eventually a gas the more heat is introduced; the inverse is true as well. Though, take into account the element of pressure, which is a powerful force on its own such that it's able to squeeze carbon so tightly that it forms into a diamond; in the context of pressure turning gases liquid or even solid, it would largely depend on other factors but is still feasible (i.e. packaged liquid nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen etc). Thusly and in general terms, extremely high temperatures = liquid, but extreme pressure = solid, so the two never really marry. Again, I'm no professional, someone please correct me if I'm wrong or if something is amiss.
