Love the video! This feels like my place! Question: What types of jobs CAN one get in Panama, besides remote work? I know the list is huge of what an expat is NOT allowed to do, but could I for example, work at a restaurant or grocery store, or flower nursery, something like that? Redirect me if need be. Thank you.
Wow, that's a very informative video. I remember Jorge, I met him on my last Panama Relocation Tours trip. I agree with another person who said I'll like to see a video about other areas just like this one.
Fantastic video! What a lovely host! Volcan is stunning…we live in Boquete, but now I am wondering if I would not rather like it in Volcan! Excellent film work.
Hello Jorge! Thank you for all this great information, for it is very helpful! I'm planning to visit and maybe even more during the upcoming dry season. I look forward to seeing more of your videos!
Hi Jorge., I really enjoyed your video on Vulcan. I hadn't realized that you are a man of many talents. Sure hope your golf game will be up to par when we meet later on this year. My wife will be with me this time for at least part of the trip. Your presentation came off as a very authentic proud Panamanian talking about his country .and his town Vulcan. Thank you again Ray Alberta Canada
He forgot to tell you about the hug anaconda’s and Boa Constrictor’s. Hiking and fishing could get yourself wrapped around. I’ve seen them in the Canal Zone. Imagine here in Volcán.
The Señor gave a wonderful tour with lots of valuable information. Loved it. Can you swim in the lakes? Are the restaurants less expensive than Boquete? Oh, Jackie said yes in an earlier reply. Volcán is very appealing.
Loved the video! I'm considering spending December thru March in Volcan. However, I'm concerned I won't be able to get my RA medication (Humira). It's an injectable pen I take every other week. Is there someway I can find out if the pharmacy will be able to carry that particular drug? If not, there would be no need for me to continue to consider.

Finally, this is home! Quiero saber si se puedo adoptar perros alquilando una casita sencilla. I can't leave the US until my senior rescues go over the rainbow, hopefully not soon but likely in the next year or two. I'm eligible for the pensioner visa.
Hi Jorge, we are planning to travel to Panama in June. We would like to get in touch with you to do some tours in Volcan. How can we go from panama city to Volcan? Thanks
Volcan is certainly beautiful, but I have never heard a host talk about the geologic hazards on this side of Baru. In short, it is extremely hazardous- as volcan is build right on top of the lahar bed- that's why it's relatively flat up there. Look at the USGS report on Volcan Baru and the flow paths off that mountain. This volcano has erupted on average every 5-600 years and it has been over 500 years since the last eruption. Every historical eruption has inundated the area of Volcan with deep lahar beds- the entire town will be decimated.
@@PanamaRelocationTours I mean, yeah… but I don’t think people realize the risk in that specific region. Not just to life, but to property/economy. There are a ton of resources being socked into an area that is at huge risk. I would not live directly in front of the amphitheater of an active volcano. It’s just something I have never seen mentioned about this incredible area.
You can find decent house for $600 per month, besides the utilities bills are much cheaper, you dont need A/C or a heating system, food is mostly organic and much cheaper than in the USA. Taxis are like $2 tops, health care is almost free, medication is easy to get. Crime rate is almost non existent, plus you ll find peace, you leave behind all that political crazyness that is happening in the US now.
Extremely informative! I learn something new every time I watch a video! Nice to know if you like cooler weather, this is a more affordable alternative to Boquete. Thank you Jackie, Jorge & the wonderful videographer!
Nice work Jorge! As you know, we've lived here over 17 years.... and I STILL watched and enjoyed the video 😂Sometimes we just take it for granted, but it really is an amazing place!
Great video Jorge. Thank you. I just retired in the US. I do plan to visit Panama in early 2025. I'll wait for the dry season to visit. May be a 2 month first time visit. From afar, I love the vibe and relaxed atmosphere coming from the Volcan area.
This video is so informative and the camera quality is outstanding! I've visited Volcán but didn't know most of these things. Really grateful for all this information, thank you!
Is there an office or professional that can help me find ways to live, work and invest in this area? I'm not talking about millions, but about an amount that could guarantee me a fair standard of living?
WOW! I can see why Jorge is a private tour guide. He impressed me, and so did Volcán. I am not sure why there were so many commercial interruptions, I’ve never encountered that many in one short video; I lost count. But I enjoyed it nonetheless. 🤗Abrazos a Jorge & PRT team! ~Deni
Thank you excellent information! One of the best videos ever! Just tell me you have seen a quetzel on one of the coffee farms and I will be in mi cielo .
Thank you Jorge, great presentation, I loved it, Volcán Panamá sounds like the type of place I would consider to eventually relocate to. Currently my wife and I live in nyc - we are from nyc. We are fluently bilingual and a Spanish speaking country like Panama would make sense. Thank you kindly - Angel & Rosa Huertas-Torres
There are furnished rentals as low as $400 a month but you can get a really nice house for $1200 too! Something for everyone. Grocery and restaurant prices are MUCH lower than Boquete.
Jorge , you are incredibly knowledgeable! Loved your information on Volcan. You'd make a wonderful tour guide. We'll definitely visit Volcan on our tour!! Thanks
Jorge sir your video is excellent. I was considering Panama before Covid and you've recreated a new desire. The info on housing and all around living in Volcan will be saved.
