In relation to the fuel holder its on the flap itself. A round bit sticking out at the top

Dude... there’s a hanger on the inside of the gas tank door. You hang the gas cap on it ... check out 13 secrets on a Porsche on RU-vid .

I’ve owned the exact same car since new. I keep promising myself a newer Porsche but in truth I can’t bear to part with it. Great review fella.

Your advise on warming up the car to avoid bore scoring, especially when it is cold out, is completely wrong. You actually have to do the opposite of what you said

He wasn't clear in what he said, but what he meant is correct, except he implied you need to warm it before driving off. That's very wrong, you mustn't sit with the car idling to warm but drive off straight away keeping engine loads light and revs below 2500 until fullly warmed. And avoid lots of short trips where the car doesn't get up to normal operating temperature.

Thanks for the review. The thing I love most about the .1 is the shape of the driving lights. I wished they carry this over to the .2. It's so elegant, well designed and unique. The .2 ones looked nice too but it looked simplified.

I stopped your video and gave you a thumb down when you said there is nowhere to put your gas cap. Come on, these are germans, do you really believe they haven't thought of that!!! There's a little hook on the fuel lid to hold the fuel cap cable. It keeps the cap away from the fender ... just fyi.

@@E28Source Thanks for the reply. What makes the 997.1 C4S worth $15k more? Does the performance and driving experience justify that delta? For the record I've driven the regular e46 M3 and a 997.1 C2S
