What's making Sheffield United tick? Behind the scenes at the Blades 

I’m studying journalism in Sheffield, I met and interviewed Chris Wilder last year. He was promoting a fundraiser for a hospice that deals with cancer patients, and apparently he does loads of other community stuff too. Great bloke, so happy for his success.

I'm an old (70) scouser and this reminds of early Liverpool. Watching Sheffield get themselves into the position they are now is a reminder of how the leagues system is supposed to work. The tiers from 4th to PL offers not only local club football but present teams lower down with the desire and opportunity to climb up as they get better. And, it's especially heart warming to see a team that is not reliant on spending hundreds of millions on players in order to play attractive and serious football against the big boys. Certainly looks to me like Chris has done and is doing a great job there and I wish them as much success as possible to keep the working class football dream alive. Much respect to all.

I've even subscribed to their youtube channel to see the behind the scenes stuff - it's totally refreshing to see a club like this get to where they are and one which shows insight to the day-to-day stuff away from the pitch. Keep up the good work

A breath of fresh air and a proper club too. The Prem could do with more Yorkshire teams like Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday for a Steel City derby in the Prem.

As much as I like what Chris Wilder has done for Sheffield United this season next season will be a big test for him to see how well he copes with the increased matches that will come his way. I just hope he can sustain the momentum for next season and I just hope it's not the first season syndrome that many managers go through when they've been promoted.
