I love this series! I hope you make more videos like this, seeing different opinions and how Pokémon has affected people’s lives is heartwarming! Also, I’d have to say my favorite game is Pearl. It was my first game and got me hooked on the series, plus the music, sprites, and challenge resonate with me. I never played Platinum so I can’t say how that compares, but I hope to play it in the future!

My favorite Pokemon game will always be Black and White. While most people think it's awful for one reason or another, it's story and music was what really developed my love for gen 5 and Unova as a whole. I honestly don't care about those people who dis Unova, they just don't understand how incredible, beautiful, and just plain awesome it is.

Ron you keep getting me with these videos. This makes me feel so mushy. I absolutely love these two videos. For me my favourite games are a very very close call between White 2 and fire red. Being the first game my cousin introduced me into last year Fire red has got to be my favourite. It really cheered me up every time I was sad cause I was going through a rough time and Pokémon just made me happy. White 2.... Being a 10 year old kid watching the anime it really made me so pumped and the movie just made me feel weird in a good way. Next thing you know 3 years later I find out that it’s a game. I had to play it right after finishing fire red ( I didn’t complete it) . Play it day in and day out, on the bus trip to visit my grandparents and the plane the Canada and finally finishing it 7 months ago. Unova has been everywhere with me and I’m proud to say I will love Pokémon till the day I die. ( pretty dark ending wasn’t it)

My favorite Pokémon game has to be PMD Explorers of Sky. It took everything I loved about Explorers of Dakness/Time-the great characters, music, and story-and added new elements that made it even better. The little mini stories you could unlock were my favorite additions.

Do side games count? Cause if so, my favorite Pokémon game, hell, my favorite game of all time, is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. I’ve been regularly replaying this game for close to a decade, with over 1000 hours clocked in on it. That’s just because I think that the story, soundtrack, and characters were at the peak of the franchise. It was just one of the most complete games I’ve ever played, and I think that seeing biased reviews like IGN’s have only made me appreciate the game more. Having all this for a side game impressed me to this day, and I think that Explorers has changed me the most out of any Pokémon game.

Emerald(nostalgia) BW/B2W2(amazing story) USUM(the game itself is astounding and gorgeous)

While SoulSilver and HeartGold are my first Pokémon games, and therefore my second favorite. My favorite would have to be Black 2 and White 2. Main reason is because of the Pokémon World Tournament on there. You get to face current and past Gym Leaders and Champions on there and is just brings the feeling of nostalgia. Not to mention it has my favorite variation of the Johto Champion music. X and Y are in third place because of the introduction of Mega Evolution in the game. Sure while my boy Typhlosion didn't get a mega, mega evolution gave Charizard the dragon typing it deserved.

HeartGold and Soul Silver for me. There’s just so much to do and I loved the Pokémon following you thing. It just made the game so much cooler ❤️

When i played Pokémon white 8 years ago, I was amazed at what it had to offer. The music, the Pokémon (all those dragons... I love dragons), the part where u enter N's castle and went to the room in which he grew up as a child... Oh that part... Even just thinking about gives me goosebumps and brings tears to my eyes. Also the fact that u could battle Cynthia, work with looker (the one from platinum) just made it worth everything to me. Damn I love that game.

Emerald. Ruby was the first game I played, and I loved it so freaking much. Then I played Emerald, which is the enhanced version,so it became my favorite.

Black White 2! It marked my life

Tough to decide but I'd have to go with Alpha Sapphire. It's the game that got me back into Pokemon at a late age, following the hype leading up to Sun & Moon, and pretty fresh off my first gen 3 playthrough on a Ruby ROM, I invested in AS while I waited. The depth of the game with how many Pokemon and items there are to hunt down, as well as having a great legendary story and post-game, not to mention my first experience with Megas, made this the game I think of whenever I'm asked about Pokemon in general. I do have to give a nod to Silver as well because I put the most time into that game as a kid.

Gen 5, in my opinion, is the best. The Pokémon, the music, the story, the sprites, the characters, and the sequels are great too.

What makes or breaks a game for me is the music and Ron made me realize that that’s why I love 5th gen music is so freaking good

My favorite generations are 5 and 7, though my favorite overall games would have to be Pokémon Black and White, they had great characters, fleshed out Rivals, good challenge, an amazing team, and a story that deserves more credit. And good lord was Ghetsis an outstanding antagonist. He literally set up N’s entire life just as a means to an end, manipulated everyone masterfully, and he managed to construct an entire castle around the Pokémon league without anyone realizing it. He built Team Plasma under the guise of a good cause while doing it all for his own gain.

Platinum is my favourite due to the story, the characters, the music, the whole game is amazing! But gen 3 is also in my heart for sure

This is so awesome! I'm an older teenager but I just got into Pokèmon, and I plan on buying every single game that is on a DS/3DS or a new modern platform! I really want to get into it and I think you, Truegreen is the PERFECT person to get me into it, I think I'll be in your comment section every video from now on. I can't thank you enough. By the way, Omega Ruby is my favourite just because it was my first Pokèmon game, as I said I am new to the series / community. This is a great community and I'm honestly very happy. I think I found a great community to improve myself as a person and overall have fun. I'm happy sad, the music feels so emotional lol.

This series is truly incredible Ron! You’re doing a good thing here. As for my fav Pokémon game there’s a lot of top contenders, but I have to go with Pokémon diamond and also platinum in a tie. Diamond was my 1st ever Main series Pokémon game I played as a kid and beat by myself! It introduced me to the Sinnoh region and showed me what a whole Main game was like. Now I played Ruby & Emerald on GBA for a bit with a friend and I had seen the Gen 1 & 2 games prior, but Diamond was the first one I owned from the main series. The music of Sinnoh was so beautiful and elegant; and then it became epic and intense with the gym battles and elite four and evil team. I enjoyed seeing an evil team with other plans besides world domination. The landscape of Sinnoh was fantastic and I loved the places. But by extension platinum is amazing as well cuz it took the already great Sinnoh region and made it better by fixing the problems of DP. Platinum elevated everything to a new level and I fell in love with both games! Diamond is also the game I’ve played the most putting in 600+ hours and it’s also the game where I’ve come the closest to actually the completing the Pokédex in any game: catching roughly 475 Pokémon out of the 493 that existed at the time! So those are my fav Pokémon games. Although I must say that HeartGold, Black 2 And Ultra Sun are top contenders as well!

I'd like to point out the sad realization that nobody's favorite was X & Y. Yeah, they ain't good..but I had kinda hoped at least one popular Poketuber really liked the games. There was also none for the original Red and Blue.

Ive been playing these games since they were released in america. I got all 3 of gen 1, still have them, and from then on i had at least 2 versions of every gen. I gotta say the most current core game is my favorite, and by that i mean its always been like that.. Platinum was my favorite of its generation, emerald of its, and now ultra sun/moon. Every gen. Comes with new additions, new twists, new pokemon and characters, it never ceases to amaze me, so im hooked, for life, and no other game comes before pokemon for me!! Great video, great concept, lots of fan love in this series, stellar work!!

I don't know why i still haven't subscribed to your channel till now, your content is amazing. My personal favourite pokemon game has to be AlphaSapphire. I really love Hoenn and the 3rd gen games, and as soon as they announced the Remakes, i was like the happiest person ever. Also, this game introduced me to the competitive scene. :) Not far behind is Black 2. This game is so nice to play. I love the story, probably all of the 5th gen mons etc. Also, I got this game many years ago as a Birthday Present from my best friends, so they pretty much got me back into Pokemon again. :)

This is a really difficult question. I like all the games. Maybe I think my favorites are gen 5 and 7. The stories are so emotional... It's very rare that I start crying because of a game... really ^-^; And I like those cinematic cut scenes. But I think we should also give the old red, blue, green and yellow some love. Because without those games we probably wouldn't have any Pokemon game.

Also, I love how everyone or the majority has a variety on which game they like, and not only one. I think every Pokémon game improves a lot in certain aspects or in general each time a new one comes out, and that's cool. I love Pokémon ❤

My First ever pokemon game was diamond i got really got attached to gen4 and the pokemon of gen4. But if i have to pick my favourite it would be Ultra Sun. I love the graphics and the animation was attractive. Plus the pokemon were also really good and the story was very intresting throughout.

Unova and Kalos are great... I love their stories and the regions and the anime seasons... but my favorite is Pokémon Sun. The story, the friendships I developed with the characters (like with Professor Kukui, Hau, Lillie, and Gladion), the warmth of the region, and the anime was what I needed in 2016...

What a wonderful series! I can't wait to see more parts of this. My favorite games have to be a toss up between silver/crystal and USUM. In crystal I put so many hours in it and had an entei at level 90+. USUM however is where I've really spurred my love for shiny hunting and enjoying the story within the games, and it's truly such a joy to play in

My favorite games are Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, I started with Diamond, it took me 1.5 years to finish it, but I know its cons, being the speed of the game, but there are aspects of both DP and Pt that I love equally. I still like all the other Pokémon games except the upcoming LGPE and the letdown that were USUM but the nostalgia is still calling me xD Plus the story is amazing, the roster of Pokémon too and the legendaries make a lot of sense ^^ And close seconds include Emerald, BW, BW2, and HGSS (in no particular order)

This is a hard one. I had so many memories with x and y but heart gold and soul silver i hold dear to my heart. Hoen was my first along with fire red but i played hoen first and the release of oras really hit me!

Way to bring the community together man. Soul Silver is my all time favorite. As a remake, I think it had a perfect blend of classic and modern content. GSC was my earliest experience, and they hit all the major notes for me while pushing the whole thing further with features and details that couldn't be accomplished before. From rebuilding parts of Kanto that were originally missing, to modernizing the Safari Zone, Bug Contest or trainer battles with Pokemon from later games (post-credits). It was a really nostalgic and refreshing trip back. Even as a standalone Pokemon game, I think it holds up really well. Traveling with your Pokemon brings that experience of having one to life in a really charming way. The UI and 2nd screen navigation is buttery smooth, and love little QoL additions like the Auto-Run Button or Key Item Toggles. It's jam packed with content and challenging sidequests between both Regions, with the inclusion of the Battle Frontier, Pokeathlon Sports, updated character rematches, and more. To this day it represents my ideal Pokemon experience.

Diamond and Pearl are mine. I never played platinum but if I'm going off the original I know it's even better but diamond and pearl were my first pokemon game and I love everything in that game. It is basically nostalgia but that doesn't matter.

Love these two videos. Seeing everyone's experience and love for Pokemon amazes me. Seeing that Hoenn love warms my heart. Hoenn is my home. One thing to say about the two videos, very small grip, every time someone comes in they say "My favourite Pokemon...". Just need to edit those repetitive parts out i think I think so video flows better

My favorite Pokémon game is Black and White 2. I love the Pokémon World Tournament. The fact that they take the original unova, and still make it feel brand new is awesome. The protagonists are great. Colress is an outstanding character, and his battle theme is amazing. And ghetsis’ battle theme is so good. The Pokémon World Tournament finals theme is also my favorite in the series. I love the fact that you beat N and he finds you worthy. I also love the fact that in the middle of the game, there is a legendary area, but you have to get an item in the postgame to get that legendary. I love that they had new gyms. A new starting area, new champion with an outstanding battle theme. The fusion aspect is amazing. And team plasma’s battle theme gets even better. I’d say it’s peak Pokémon as Lockstin also said.

This really frustrates me, it seems people come to your channel just to dislike the videos. But this video was amazing, keep making amazing videos like this one!

Really chill video to listen to! You can definitely tell what age group the Poketuber community is though, haha. (Gen 3 had the most by a large margin, with the generations surrounding it having about the same amount as each other.)

I love these videos so much. It really reminds us that there is no true best pokemon game or pokemon region and it all boils down to person preference AND personal experiences. Each and every pokemon game was designed to be the best game ever for someone out there.

if i were a youtuber and got invited here, i would say my favorite game is ultra sun, i have put so many hours in this game, and i grew to love it even more, i love the trails, the alola forms(especially ninetales), and the ultra warp ride, basically, this is, for me, the most perfect main series pokemon game ever, 10/10
