9/10 times if a family friendly show is edited it is to add more commercials.

It was spots like the Henry Gibson appearance that led to Fates' Law; if Soupy had guessed wrong, he would have been disqualified for the rest of the round.

I haven't seen many episodes from this incarnation of What's My Line, but at least in this episode Soupy was an a--hole. If this is typical, rather than an off day, agreed that the show would be better without him.
