I was born in 1956, most of this I would be too young to enjoy it. Now I get to enjoy it and I'm so great full. Thanks for posting these. This is really a great program.
@dylan plantega - by the definitions used on WML credit cards aren't consumed. Except, as John Daly would say, in the very general sense that all products at some time will reach a state where they may be said to be consumed.
"I know what you're thinking, did I fire seven shots or six? Well to tell you the truth, in all this confusion I've forgotten myself. So you have to ask yourself one question... ... DO YOU FEEL LUCKY??? WELL DO YOU PUNK???"
Why are these episodes of What's My Line not dated? I think they were always aired on a,Sunday night. I look for the date which is important in the enjoyment of the episode. I think you should always include the date.
I did n't know that Dorothy was such good friends with Miles Davis and wrote helpful piece about MD being attacked by police and head broken while he was standing outside a club where he was headlining. The police didn't care abut tht. very sad:/
Every telephone at that time had a wheel on it !! They were just starting touchtone phones. Why do you assume a wheel is something that rolls on the ground? There are spinning wheels, pinwheels, etc that were used at that time.
It's so funny seeing Carol Channing here who was not identifying as black at that time although not too long after this show, it came out the her father was black.
She knew since she was 17 that her grandmother on her father's side was black and that her father was then born with the word "colored" on his birth certificate even though he visually was white and pale (like his own father) and lived his life as a white man. This wasn't new information to Carol by the time she did this show.
