We're in zone 4a celebrating the start of a new growing season. We have more laying hens, turkeys, and Cornish cross, too. Last year taught us that time in the garden is invested, not spent. So this year we've doubled the garden space while focusing on growing the most of what we loved best last year. We grew seeds we saved last year as well as from seed trades from families throughout the US in a push towards more sustainable gardening. We also chose to grow veggies that could be preserved in deliciously shelf-stable ways to enjoy all year long.
